Why do Christians struggle spiritually?
One word, bondage.
I have come to understand that there are two concepts which determine the victory and fruitfulness of a Christian. The first
concept is maturity. Paul wrote: "We are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ… to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fulness of Christ" Ephesians 4:15,13. God has given us everything we need to grow to maturity in Christ 2 Peter 1:3. But Satan is opposed to our maturity and will do anything he can to keep us from realizing who we are and what we have in Christ.
Who we are and what we have in Christ?
In Christ, we have everything we need in life. When we do not live by this Biblical premise, we are in bondage to untruth. Here are just some of these untruths that put us into a bondage and we struggle:
Jesus said the truth will set you free John 8:32
Jesus said with him you can do much John 15: 5
Jesus said for you, there is no condemnation Romans 8: 1
Abide in Jesus, live in the truth and know, when you struggle, it is natural, caused by you or someone around you or nature and not God! Increase your faith by reading and hearing the word of God and not listening to negative thoughts from Satan. Your world can definitely improve your situation but do not put your faith in this life, your future is in the next life!

- God doesn't love me.
- nobody loves me .
- I don't love myself.
- God doesn't answer my prayers.
- I am not worthy.
- I am still too sinful.
- I haven't been water baptized.
- I can't speak in tongues.
- Nothing ever goes right.
- I keep falling away.
- I am not saved.
- I can't be saved.
