I dont want to have to come out of the cave to defend my posts. I was pointing out....... If a lost person divorces and 15 years later he becomes converted,General Baptist would never allow him to be ordained to the ministry. That is ridiculous and unscriptual. God can for forgive,hypocrites cant.

I think it has more to do with the ceremonial law (shadow) of gathering together more than one family . .as a sign to the world. Prophecy God's declared will for the believer.

He uses a family as a ministry of two or three to include wife and children to draw men to His eternal word ..as good examples to the flock.

Never a ministry of one. Sends us out two by two. "Two" in the number word that indicates God not seen has spoken.
