Why is God hiding?

Why do I always feel its my word against theirs when it comes to my religion? Why doesn't God just show everyone? Why do I even feel like I have to search for enough proof that I'm not crazy in my own personal life? I know it's real, but how can I prove it? How does God intend for us to prove our message? If miracles, then why do we see so few? If anything it seems that my life would be evidence that my beliefs are a fairy tale due to my constant lack. I have ideas that may provide answers but I'd really like to hear others thoughts even if it's just to direct me to another thread where this may be covered.

Well I don't know where your looking for miracles, but thousands of miracles happen every day. What is your definition of miracle anyway?

Also, you posted this thread in the evidence and prophecy forum. Have you looked at the sticky threads in this forum? That's a good start to help you.

I know for sure by 100% indeed GOD is real, miracles are real, Jesus is Son of GOD. I have evidence of this in my own life.

Your question perhaps should be: What is God's primary purpose for man? It is certainly not so we can "prove" God's truth to others. (God gives the increase). You might like it if you could do that, but shouldn't you be more concerned with what God would like than what you would like? Consider the written words of James:

"Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." James 4:3

Consider the answer Jesus gave here to those who sought a sign:

"Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas" Matt 12:38-39

If a person really believes and lives by that belief, that faith toward God, God will provide all the proof that is needed in his own heart. Do not expect everyone you talk with about the Lord to accept your testimony.

If you believe, your proof is your own testimony. I went to a church on and off for 30 years and only knew of God and Jesus. It was not until I personally confessed to God my belief and asked for Jesus to come into my life, that I no longer just knew of God and Jesus, I know them personally now. There is a big difference between knowing of and knowing personally.

Many, over those 30 years would have called me a Christian...but I was not. When I ask God to come into my life and the Holy Spirit came into me and I was truly "Born Again", was I a Christian.

You need to ask God to come into your life, you must be "Born Again" before you , with the Holy Spirit's help, can start to answer any of your questions. It is the Holy Spirit that gives you understanding by reading and staying in the "Word of God".
