Why worship something imaginary gods fake we are all a cosmic mistake when you die you rot you dont go anywhere first off im gay as in i like guys sinner omg im a sinner there is well over 95,000 religions telk me what make you thing yours is real hmmm what you cant oh wait the bible says so and god answers our prayers open your eyes people isis cancer starvation if god gave a damn you think hed do something you have a book a worthless book i have set fire to a bible and would you believe that oh my god nothing happened its a book so if god exists and Jesus so do unicorns and mermaids cause books say they do all of you are slaves on your knees to a god of nothing i make mistakes i dont need to be saved all religion your hollyness is televised suicide is a sin ok i kill myself when im abused everyday school home work i mive state to state and camnot escape it turn to god for help but it accomplishes nothing so anyway you kill yourself and go to hell if god does exisit im glad to burn in hell at least satan is cool and will let me have tattoos and peircings and like who i want every issue in the world is religion why cause people with religion are ignorant dumb nuts i am an atheist why i prayed to god was a religious nut but nothing ever worked prayers never answered cause god doesnt exist jesus hmmm oh the jewish zombie that rose from the dead and is his own father and you telepathically speak to him i dont need no savour im my own savior im no slave to religion

First off, have you actually counted the world's religions? I doubt that...so that means you are taking other people's word for things. Christianity is not a religion so much as it is a personal relationship with God as our perfect Father.

Do you get some sort of comfort from your fear and pain by blaming God for the things that evil people do all on their own volition?

Yes, a book will burn if you set fire to it. Were you testing God? Seeking Him and something to believe in? Try reading it. It is what is said in the bible in every book therein that has great power to change your life from a cynical, negative person to a vibrant, powerful person because you will receive the revelation of God's boundless love for you...yes, you.

Satan is not cool. He is the embodiment of evil and hatred. He hates your very flesh and seeks to destroy and even kill you. You have been deluded by him. What do you care if he "lets" you do anything? Do you need permission? He doesn't give a fig for you.

Yes, you do need a Saviour. His name is Jesus. He suffered the punishment that is due you for your sins, so you don't have to. He offers you freedom from the addiction to sin you were born with. You can certainly live your life without Him in it, but you will reap the fruit of that in the end: Judgment. You are a slave, for sure: a slave to sin. Jesus wants to free you from that.

He has paid the price for my sins and has set me free from the pull of sin on my life and its effects, such as guilt. What a glorious thing to be free from sin! Free from guilt and shame! Free to choose to do what is right and praiseworthy! All this and knowing that my eternity is sealed...that I will live forever with Jesus who loves me more than I can ever imagine!

Be an individual, and stop listening to what the world says. Choose life. Choose Jesus, the way and the truth and the life.

Something tells me you'll even doubt my opening :)

Now that you've made your opening statement which is opinion based.
How far are you willing to go to seek the truth of Jesus Christ or is that not what you really want?

How much do you really know about Christianity or are you here just to see if you can confirm that Christians are really hateful people?

Is it also possible that you are confusing the message with the messenger?

You are not the first and I'm sure will not be the last to come to Talk Jesus to make statements based not on any type of study, but to lash out on those they don't understand or even want to know. Professing to be gay, I'm sure you understand how that might feel.

So, if you're really seeking to know if it's just the messengers up to now who have been feeding you a raw deal, or is it possible the message that has stood the test of time might actually be worth looking into with a more open mind.

You're welcome to stay and talk with us awhile. You will find that we do not tire of talking about Jesus. I would just ask that you be respectful in doing so. The expectation is not that you agree, but in honesty be respectful of those who are only looking to share with you the Love that they truly didn't understand until they came to Jesus the Christ. :thumbsup:

However, if you're only really looking to ridicule then please move on, because right now that's only it seems that you're willing to do.

If you want to find out more about Jesus and how he can help you, you are welcome.
Otherwise, you need to go to another site and pedal you garbage somewhere else.

I'm glad that you found your way to join the discussion. It is good that you are asking questions. That is excellent, the Bible tells us, seek and you shall find. So as long as we never get to the point in this flesh where we think we know it all, and we continue to ask honest questions, seeking honest answers there is hope. I invite you to stay and journey with us. We all have questions also.

One comment I think I can help you with is when you mentioned that "at least Satan will left you... " Like Ophel stated you already have freedom. You don't need Satans permission to do those things. You can do what you want.

But the myth is that Satan let's you be and dosent bother you or restrict your freedom. That is false. I repeat Satan does not respect your freedom to do what you want. One more time for emphasis, Satan does not respect your freedom.

The only thing Satan will allow you to do( correct me if I'm wrong my brothers and sisters in Christ) is to walk freely on the board road of destruction that leads to hell. If you are making destructive decisions he leaves you alone, but as soon as you decide freely to walk the narrow road that leads to life, this Satan who you thought was freely letting you be starts attacking you.

Try sleeping around, doing drugs, looking at porn, give it a try, and one day decide you want to do something different. Decide "freely" that you want to play your video games, or go visit your friend in the hospital, or just do something different. You will find that your ability to step away from those acts have been compromised. The one who you thought was letting you be free was actually just putting chains of bondage on you. So those who sleep around and want to stop because they have an STD come to find out that they can't stop because they are in bondage. Those who are doing drugs and alcohol and want to stop because it is getting too expensive and they need to pay rent, find that they can't stop and against their "free" will find themselves stealing to feed their bondage and addiction. The truth is that there is so sin that dosent in someway lead to or contribute to an addiction or spiritual bondage. Even pride.

So my friend when God advises us not to take the broad road He is not trying to take away our freedoms. The opposite is true. He wants to us is remain free.

Mediate on this and she if she see any truth in it.

That's the longest gibberish sentence I've ever read in my life. I advise you to look at your own post and see how silly it sounds and not to mention disrespectful to the community. There's a possible way to air your differences in a polite, mature manner.

And why if there is no God and all you say is true... why do you bother to even come here to a very definitely Christian forum? Could it not be that you were drawn here by no power of your own? Is it not possible that there really is something more and you want to have someone reassure you with their positive words of the Hope that they have?

Elijah, It would not be wise, or smart to believe in something with out having any kind of proof, or evidence to why we believe in the Lord God. Even though God is invisible to our physical eyes, he surely is not invisible to our spiritual eyes by which we see him by faith. Everything you have described here is nothing new, as these is what the Bible calls the "works of the flesh"
Everyone on this forum all had very similar attitudes just like you at one time, in fact there was a guy called Saul of Tarsus who murdered the Christians back in Jesus's day. He finally became a born again Christian, and he wrote most of the New Testament in the Bible. His name was changed to the Apostle Paul. You have not offended me in anyway in what you have said, as I see a young man who is confused, and wondering is this all there is to life. Even doing the things you know in yourself is wrong, and yet their excitement of doing wrong no longer brings the enjoyment it once had. I have got some good new for you Elijah, knowing God and serving him brings joy unspeakable, and full of glory beyond any words that could ever be spoken to you. His peace, and contentment far exceeds anything you could ever know or have known. Coming to this forum was no mistake, as I see the Lord drawing you to himself. as he has done to all of us here before we became his child.
If you are sensing in your heart his call to you, and want to change your life as only God can do then I would highly recommend you do this.....

Rom 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Rom 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame."
 
Wow Elijah LEE!! Could you be a little more rational? LOL Why would someone who has no hope, and no grace come to people who do, to condemn them??humm You know when a person is already behind bars there is no need to fear them any longer. And the words which come from people who are in there own jail have very little meaning to those who are not in the same bondage.

We are here not to mock or make fun of those in bondage,we have come as our Jesus has to bring life to those in bondage,and to let you know if you wish to,that the door to your cell is already open! For some 22 years I was very much like yourself! And like you, I would test and make fun of those who were not in jail like myself! But the joke was on me not on them!! I believed my cell door was locked when it was open!

You can remain as you are right now Elijah, it sure is your choice,but there is another way to think and live and perhaps,just perhaps if you become able to see more,you will learn more. Consider this please! I know the pain of a mindset which is locked in bondage,all we are here to do is to open our arms.( Luke 15:3-32!!) And to remind those who live in such bondage, the time you think you have,is not always the time which is granted to us.( Luke 12:19-21) I sure was glad when I opened the door and stepped outside!
