i once had a very vivid dream, where i was in an old theatre, i was in the centre of the stage, on my knees, around me in a large circle were all these people in hoods, chanting, trying spiritualy to come against my self,
i have shared this, on this forum, under have you ever had a spiritual battle, in your dreams.

as these people were coming agaisnt myself , i started to say, i bind you in the name of Jesus, i bind you in the name of Jesus, over and over, with more authority each time i said it.

suddenley there was a bright light, every thing became white, i was aware these people were no longer there.

then i woke up. we have the gifts, but they are not used, the power of the spirit, and the word of God, but few are reached and helped,
we can bind satan, and the powers of darkness.
but no one can be bothered, complacent.
or less not concern our selves with such things.

while we are comfortable, they will be preforming human sacrifice to satan?

What we really need to focus on is walking like Christ. Like Jesus we are to do only the works the Father is doing, speak only the Words the Father is saying and all that in only in the power and direct leading of the Holy Spirit.
I am a firm believer in spiritual warfare and the authority of the believer over the powers of darkness.
Spending several years in a deliverance ministry taught me this:
We are never to move presumptuously but to move only as He directs.
Casting out demons in one that is not ready can lead to worse problems.
If God directly tells you to move then by all means move. If God is not telling you to move He may be calling you to prayer or even telling you to wait.
Learn from the Hebrew children- follow the cloud by day and the pillar by night. Never go ahead and never stay behind.

We do not however choose our works or our missions. Even the great Apostle Paul was withheld from preaching the Gospel in Asia (Acts 16:6) by the Holy Spirit. It seemed the right thing but God had something else in mind.

I think it is a great assumption to say that Christians are complacent and do not use the strategies for spiritual warfare that are available to us. Many Christians are very aware of the powers of darkness and many Christians do go in to battle against them.

It is not wise to fight directly against the enemy and his cohorts unless directed specifically by God imo.

The greatest form of spiritual warfare, which we can all participate in and which lines up with scripture, that can push back the powers of darkness is worshiping the King of Kings, our wonderful Lord Almighty.

and to follow, this often means action, getting up, may not be so much a case of following, probaly more a case of catching up.

as for praying agaisnt the power of darkness, any time we want to get down to pray, and make our selves avalable, what ever we can interseed about, the holy spirit will help us, any time we want to make ourselves avalable to help, share ,care, like wise.
