What a wonderful message to preach. A gospel indeed. That the LOrd Jesus Christ gave himself for men. We should thank God for the Gospel of His grace which brings to us forgiveness....eternal life....and the blessing of the Lord God Almighty,....Amen... in Jesus, upon folks who do not deserve it. "Us" Yes I mean you, if you will trust in Jesus, you will be included just as much as I.
Who amongst men can fully interpret the meaning of the cross? Who can fathom such grace? Who can understand such mercy? The blessed Son of God....Jesus dying in our place, suffering in our place, and taking away our sin.
None of the ransomed ever knew, how deep were the waters crossed. Or how dark the night the LOrd passed through, e're he found that sheep which was lost.
But thanks be to God Jesus did. "Come now let us reason together says the LOrd. Though your sins be scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they be red, like crimson, they shall be as wool"
