Word on the Web
Philippians 3 v 12-16
I do not mean that I am already as God wants me to be. I have not yet reached that goal, but I continue trying to reach it and to make it mine. Christ wants me to do that, which is the reason he made me his. Brothers and sisters, I know that I have not yet reached that goal, but there is one thing I always do. Forgetting the past and straining toward what is ahead, I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above.
All of us who are spiritually mature should think this way, too. And if there are things you do not agree with, God will make them clear to you. But we should continue following the truth we already have.
While we are living in this world we are still working on our Christian faith. The word of God is our refiner to shape us, cleanse us, mould us and make us into what God wants us to become. Praying daily and studying his word will help us to grow in the faith. Everything that we need to help our growth can be found in the word of God. The Holy Spirit is our helper to give us the understanding that we need what we read.
We also need wisdom to use the word and not to be annoyed with someone if they do not want to listen to us. While we try to convert others we must be also helping ourselves to mature. There are things that we need to remember, while we are helping others our spirit must be forgiving we cannot be proud and unforgiving because God will not answer our prayers.
Whatever we do has to be done from a humble heart. To impact someone without argument, the Holy Spirit has to be the convincers don't lose touch with him as you live as you like. God he speak to you when you are speaking to someone he is speaking to you what to say, you see He is your supernatural friend and helper who knows more than you do, listen to him. Check yourself occasionally to see if you are living up with Gods word. Take time out to pray and meditate on him, because you can become so busy that you are helping others but you are losing out. Never get yourself into that situation where you lose out and become so weak in the faith that discouragement sets in. Grow in grace and in the knowledge of God.
Dear God, Your love for the whole world has caused man to live again. Thank you for the sacrifice you have made by sending your son to die for my sins, your love lights my way. Open the eyes of your people that they may see the changes that are happening around us today. You are coming soon. Praise God. Amen
