Philippians 2 v 5-11
In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Christ himself was like God in everything.
But he did not think that being equal with God was something to be used for his own benefit.
But he gave up his place with God and made himself nothing. He was born to be a man and became like a servant.
And when he was living as a man, he humbled himself and was fully obedient to God, even when that caused his death-death on a cross.
So God raised him to the highest place. God made his name greater than every other name so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus - everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father.
It is not always easy to have and exercise the mind of Christ in us because the flesh is constantly at war with the human spirit. With the help of God however we are able to resist the temptation of doing bad things everyday. Jesus being the son of God comes to earth to help man and he knows that man is a difficult creature, it was his love that bought him down to man and we can learn from his life that is left in scriptures as an example.
We must discipline our own minds to be humble and respect our fellow human being as Jesus did. We don't need to be boastful or show offs on each other seeing as life is short. We should be happy and try to get on with people where we are at.
It is sometimes good to listen to some body especially is they have more experience then you and they are reliable. Trust in God and tell him your concerns from a sincere heart and he will listen to you and help you. Your life on earth is being trained for the life to come. When you honour God he will honour you.
Dear God help me to love you as you love me, and sent Jesus to die for my sins. I will love my fellow man. Amen
