Philippians 2 v 12-18
My dear friends, you have always obeyed God when I was with you. It is even more important that you obey now while I am away from you. Keep on working to complete your salvation with fear and trembling, because God is working in you to help you want to do and be able to do what pleases him.
Do everything without complaining or arguing. Then you will be innocent and without any wrong. You will be God's children without fault. But you are living with crooked and mean people all around you, among whom you shine like stars in the dark world. You offer the teaching that gives life. So when Christ comes again, I can be happy because my work was not wasted. I ran the race and won.
Your faith makes you offer your lives as a sacrifice in serving God. If I have to offer my own blood with your sacrifice, I will be happy and full of joy with all of you. You also should be happy and full of joy with me.
One has to be sure to be responsive in sorting one self out every day because it is ones responsibility to do so. Every one will be pay according to the work they have done in life. It is good to know the will for your life. A daily reading of the bible will help us to do so, when going on a journey it is necessary to work out the impending truth so as to have a clear passage without being lost.
If this is not done then the person travelling the route might be lost and has n one else to blame but himself. He therefore should be prepared before he started on his journey. In today's world people are not always honest and you are not always sure who to trust. Paul said in his conversation that he could trust Timothy to bring him back information about the Philippians Christians which would cheer him up and make him happy. Timothy could be trusted to do such a work, someone might be depending on you to cheer them up. So make yourself useful and help somebody today. Guide someone on the right path help them to make the right decision about something that is working their mind. Help them to go in the right direction and find their own space in life.
Holy Father please help me to help somebody as I pass along. That my life will make a difference in an awkward situation. Use my words because they are wise words. Thank you for your direction.
