1Tim 5:8; But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
A person who hasn't accepted Jesus, a person who doesn't believer in God... is an unbeliever. The consequences for this are pretty high.
Rev 20:15; And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
Could anything be worse than being a unbeliever? The verse above says there is. The connotation here is, they are a believer. They believe in Jesus ( or at least believe they do )
but by their actions they deny the faith, and they are ... "worse".. than an unbeliever.
