Worship in Spirit and in Truth
The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock, and may the God of my salvation be exalted. Worship is a lifestyle, and praise is the overflow of that life. As you learn to be a worshiper of God - one who worships in spirit and in truth - you won't be able to contain the praise that bubbles forth from your enriched soul. God the Father is seeking such people. Isn't that a cool thought? To know that God is looking for people just like you! People who love Him with their whole heart, soul, mind, and strength. People who abandon themselves in praise and adoration to their God and King. People who constantly express love and devotion to the Savior of their souls. Make a decision right now to release yourself from anything that would hold you back from praising God.
Let go of image and expectations. Get rid of fears and doubts. Cast off all social restraint. Boldly declare the praises of your God to all who come your way. King David cried out, "I will praise you as long as I live, and in your Name will I lift my hands." And again he said, "My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long." There are two key moments that you should always use as opportunities to praise God. Praise Him when He blesses your life: answered prayer, miraculous provision, unique circumstances, restored relationships, averted disaster, and abundant blessings, just to name a few. The other moment to capture is just as you come face to face with problems: broken relationships, imminent disaster, financial difficulty, health problems, and more. These occasions provide us the opportunity to praise God in faith, knowing He WILL come through for us. It is at that moment, praising God in the face of desperate circumstances, that we win the battle, grow in Christ, and give Him all the glory. God be with you all...
