Writing Fantasy

So I like to write. I've been writing since I was around 12 years old. For the past 3 years I've been working on this fantasy story. There are gods, angels, monsters, magical powers, science experiments gone wrong, discrimination, corruption, wars, and so on. When I eventually decide to write it down, I'll probably have about 3 books worth of world building and other content. I have a friend who had banned anything magical related. Is this something unique to her, or are other christian's also against magic? I personally love anything fantasy related, or stories that revolve around good verses evil, (such as switching up who the antagonist and protagonist is, switching up the norm, etc) so I find it weird how some people would be against it. So what are your thoughts? Is it moral for me, as a Christian, to write a fantasy novel about monsters and gods? I think it's fine, but what are your thoughts?

Christians should be against magic -- gods, monsters, etc. gone wrong. All of those things in fantasy stories? Maybe you could try writing about something more Positive. There's already plenty of negative in this world -- maybe encourage positives in your writing.

I like fantasy also, and scifi, but some games I used to play, the Lord through the Holy Spirit told me to no longer play, that the use of magic was not to be considered something we should do, and some games where you are either like a god, or even a god or angel slayer. God through the Holy Spirit told me that not only was I not to play them, but to throw them away so that others could not use them. I would sincerely pray to God and ask Him to show you or at least impress upon you whether its right or wrong. If you pray for this sincerely, God will answer you.

Ok, nothing short of being harsh, but speaking "Biblical truth", Read your BIBLE! and for those who don't understand what read your Bible means. The word "bible" means BOOK! read "THE BOOK" 1st! Then you will not ask stupid questions! because, you will know what a 'RED" stop light means. But people have time to write "fantasy stories". and you want people to read your stories and you will not read GOD's true stories! God gave you a mind to think!

My brothers and Sister, always it seems lately christians are saying the Holy Spirit told me this and told me that. The Holy Spirit will not Speak nothing of it self. But will remind you what is "written" in the "Word of God" but if you have not read it. The Spirit of God cannot remind you what you have not read.
Most Christians do not know what the 'Word of God" really is, if they did, they would slop it up like "Biscuits and gravy" and lick their fingers. But they claim to love Him, but hardly spend the time with Him to learn about His character. The only way to do so, you must read about Him. The Bible is not a good book to learn how to be a nice
person, it is a BOOK about GOD and what HE is like. I had to get your attention. And before you judge my words here, read "The BOOK" as A BOOK, then judge my words in that context. And you, might find my words, written here, are kind.

Please take notice and get out of this stuff

If you like to write, then why not write about the Lord....His love, His blessings, His mercy. Put your pen to something worthwhile and glorifying to the Lord.
