I'm curious if you're giving your tithing too or are you using meta dollars to an unknown organization?

Censorship is probably one of the largest problems. I'm sure sin won't at least the specificity of sin on one's life won't be a topic for sermons in these Metaverse Churches. Certain guidelines that would be in place probably would prohibit the teaching of such things.

Plus, there is no replacing being next to a Brother or Sister in Christ Jesus and praising His Holy name in unity! Laying of hands and praying for another in need. There is something to be said about physical contact that no amount visual/audio stimulation can replace.

I'm sure there are other things to include here, but I'll leave it to others. I'm curious on how the comments will range on this subject!!!

The meta verse is satans domain I am convinced of it. instead of looking at porn, people will be able to experience it on a whole new level.

The Meta verse is satan copying Gods real universe is the way I see it.

It is the future, it takes away all human contact, this deliberate IMO they will get you hooked on all types of sinful behavior and censor anyone who dares brings it up.

Any church that exist in the meta verse will not be allowed to talk about sin I agree with you Nick on this 100%. the Prosperity preachers will be able to expand greatly because of this platform.

Social conditioning at its best.

There are already people spending REAL money to purchase Virtual real-estate in the meta verse. Mind boggling

Its an interesting concept....Consider all the people that find real churches inadequate for their needs because they are not "acceptable" to the members there... This man does not have a job and is having a difficult time finding one....He's pariah in that assembly he attends and his family as well.. The old woman with health problems is shunned by her brothers and sisters in that church she goes to because what? They don't believe in healing? What about the people in the churches that experience lonliness and do not fit the social structure of their church.... It's not surprising that some Christians would be drawn to a virtual church in their search for acceptance into the Christian family....Are we going to condemn them too?

I think when people go in looking for the church to fill their needs they will always struggle finding a real church,

when people who go in looking to fill the needs of the church it seems usually they find a good church home IMO

Very interesting topic.

Yea, I think that technology in and off itself is not bad but we live in a world in which people are so corrupt that
you can except Satan to take advantage of this new technology to allow people to have access to more creative
ways to sin.

I think about the internet. The internet has allowed the Gospel to spread much faster than it could ever have before.
And the internet has allowed sin to likewise spread much faster than it could as well. I think great opportunities
will be presented to minister and great opportunities to sin. Depending on the heart of the person, I think it will
determine what path they take.

And since this technology is so seductive (in the general sense of the word), it can easily be addictive. But I would say
that if Christian's find themselves on such a platform, they should see ministry as the primary focus.

For example, I'm on facebook, ( the only platform I use, I'm not of instagram or snapchat or tiktok or twitter)
but my primary purpose is just to minster through music to people (to encourage) and communicate
with family that are thousands of miles away on another continent. I don't use FB to share my opinion or
post about my life, etc ,etc Just to minister with music through sharing songs 80% of which are Christian songs.

I regularly take fasts (breaks) from facebook for days or a weeks at times, just to make sure I'm not getting too attached or dependent,
because it can be habit forming and absorb much of your time. Time that I could be spending reading the Bible, praying, etc.

So, I think God can use the MetaVerse for good, but Christians shouldn't go into it to "play" or join the world. If one feels called
into that realm, let it be for ministry and let it be done with caution. I believe we are still called to reach the lost, and if the lost
are not found on the street corners but sitting locked in their homes plugged into a virtual world, we need to go where they
are at to reach them. I personally wouldn't want to go into the MetaVerse because I know my own temptations and weaknesses, but
I will pray that God sends laborers for the harvest into this new frontier.

It seems why or don’t many know that a visible church is worldly and secular with all of the tapestries. It maybe useful but just like a Hospital bed but The world will be the World and we may try to prove it is not of the world and proclaim It Heavenly but the case may lodge in our mortal mind and when This World is shaken by GOD it will crumble, it cannot stand. And it will disappear and be no more and forever forgotten.

So let not us be over taken what the world is doing but let us be observing The Season of these Times. Like one has said on TalkJesus “Prophecy is unfolding every day before our faces.

PS. We Must stop confusing the visible church with “The Sons of The Living GOD” they are not the same, One is worldly and trying to make the world better, the other The Congregation of GOD which is “Heavenly” is not. The two are not the same I do not care what we have been taught by mortal man.

The invisible Congregation is The only representative of Jesus Christ on earth for we are the very people that walks the earth Each one of us are a Light to a Dark world. For we are the exposures of That which is hidden in The Dark. And this world hates us for being that light that exposes that is done in the dark.

Therefore you go into The world and you proclaim the whole Gospel According To Jesus Christ. Now Go. You Go!
