Acts 8
Contemporary English Version

8 1-2 Saul approved the stoning of Stephen. Some faithful followers of the Lord buried Stephen and mourned very much for him.
Saul Makes Trouble for the Church

At that time the church in Jerusalem suffered terribly. All of the Lord's followers, except the apostles, were scattered everywhere in Judea and Samaria. 3 Saul started making a lot of trouble for the church. He went from house to house, arresting men and women and putting them in jail.
The Good News Is Preached in Samaria

4 The Lord's followers who had been scattered went from place to place, telling the good news. 5 Philip went to the city of Samaria and told the people about Christ. 6 They crowded around Philip because they were eager to hear what he was saying and to see him work miracles. 7 Many people with evil spirits were healed, and the spirits went out of them with a shout. A lot of paralyzed and lame people were also healed. 8 Everyone in that city was very glad because of what was happening.

Jesus and the Disciples did not teach, only, in Church Services, but took the Church (themselves) out to, and among the Lost. If you go to a Christian Service you must realize you are the Church and to become like Yashua, you must explain to folks what you have learned, not to become a mega-teacher, but to explain why you do not want them to suffer eternally and what they need to do to go, instead, to Heaven. Just a telling discussion of the truth.

Hello @Bill Taylor,

When I read your OP, into my mind came the words of 2 Corinthians 3:2, 'Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men': and looking further, I read the following:-

'Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us,
written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God;
not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.'
(2 Corinthians 3:3)

'Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face,
that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
But their minds were blinded:
for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament;
which vail is done away in Christ.
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
Now the Lord is that Spirit:
and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory,
even as by the Spirit of the Lord.'
(2Cor. 3:12-17)

Praise God!

Thank you
In Christ Jesus
Chris
