In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus starts off the sermon on the mount with a famous passage called the beatitudes.

Matt 5:2; He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying,
Matt 5:3; "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matt 5:4; "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Matt 5:5; "Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth.
Matt 5:6; "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Matt 5:7; "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Matt 5:8; "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Matt 5:9; "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Matt 5:10; "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matt 5:11; "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.
Matt 5:12; "Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

It's verse 5 that is the most interesting to me... "they shall inherit the earth". Some people will inherit the kingdom of heaven. Some people will see God. Some people will be called sons of God,... but some people will "inherit the earth".
I'm not 100 percent sure what that means really. Are these people but they don't inherit the kingdom of heaven? It seems unlikely to me.

Rev 3:12; 'He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.
Rev 7:15; "For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them.

These two verses seem to say, that once you are part of the temple entourage. You will never leave the Temple.

Rev 11:15; Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever."

There are a couple of verses where Satan is called the "god of this world". It seems that the earth doesn't totally belong to Jesus until the 7th trumpet is blown.

Rev 20:4; Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Rev 20:5; The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6; Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years.

It says here, that the saints martyred ( beheaded ) during the tribulation will come back to life and reign with Jesus for a thousand years. ( Presumably the millennial reign ). But what do they do, and where do they go after that?

Perhaps the verse with the most questions attached is...

Rev 22:14; Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city.
Rev 22:15; Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.

Who are these people outside the New Jerusalem? They appear to be unsaved people. This will be after the new heaven and new earth are here.

1Cor 2:9; but just as it is written, "THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD, AND which HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN, ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM."

I take this verse to mean, there is nothing on earth like where we are going. No pictures, or paintings or words to describe it. The NASB puts words in upper case, if they are a quote from the old testament.
I was unable to find the old testament verse that 1Cor 2:9 was quoting.

The kindom of heaven is within you. Its just that your stewardship shall be over the earth, more or less finishing what was started with adam and eve, I would assume. But you can travel to heaven whenever you desire.

A more correct translation would be...

Luke 17:21; nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!' For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst."

But even if it's within us, it is still a place we can't go yet.

John 13:36; Simon Peter *said to Him, "Lord, where are You going?" Jesus answered, "Where I go, you cannot follow Me now; but you will follow later."
John 13:37; Peter *said to Him, "Lord, why can I not follow You right now? I will lay down my life for You."

Where did Jesus go that Peter couldn't go?

Acts 1:9; And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
Acts 1:10; And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them.
Acts 1:11; They also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."

Peter couldnt go to heaven until his heavenly body is gifted him, just like all of us. A vision of heaven is okay in our spirit alone, but even then only with a guide.

How can a person "come boldly to the throne of Grace" when it is not in this world?

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

No man has ascended into heaven in their earthly bodies. Exactly where do you think the throne of grace is? You think we must travel bodily to heaven to gain grace? Who is the author and finisher of grace?

Read ISAIAH 65. There will be righteous people on the new earth

No man has ascended into heaven in their earthly bodies. Exactly where do you think the throne of grace is? You think we must travel bodily to heaven to gain grace? Who is the author and finisher of grace?
I did not say to come to the throne of grace, God said it. What response are you going to tell him?

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Peter couldnt go to heaven until his heavenly body is gifted him, just like all of us. A vision of heaven is okay in our spirit alone, but even then only with a guide.

He means while we are still on this earth. Go to God/ through the Christ and maje our supplications known with thanksgiving and the peace of God will be obtained

I did not say to come to the throne of grace, God said it. What response are you going to tell him?

Heb 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
I already came to the throne of grace, have you not done so already?

He means while we are still on this earth. Go to God/ through the Christ and maje our supplications known with thanksgiving and the peace of God will be obtained
But the subject was about heaven and our future homes there, not about coming to Christ through His Grace.

But the subject was about heaven and our future homes there, not about coming to Christ through His Grace.
Our future home is not in heaven.

Our future home is on earth restored and renewed to its original purpose. Heaven and earth reunited.

That's how Jesus can talk about entering the kingdom of heaven and inheriting the earth (land) without contradiction.

Isa 65:17; "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind.
Isa 65:18; "But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing And her people for gladness.
Isa 65:19; "I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; And there will no longer be heard in her The voice of weeping and the sound of crying.
Isa 65:20; "No longer will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, Or an old man who does not live out his days; For the youth will die at the age of one hundred And the one who does not reach the age of one hundred Will be thought accursed.
Isa 65:21; "They will build houses and inhabit them; They will also plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
Isa 65:22; "They will not build and another inhabit, They will not plant and another eat; For as the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, And My chosen ones will wear out the work of their hands.
Isa 65:23; "They will not labor in vain, Or bear children for calamity; For they are the offspring of those blessed by the LORD, And their descendants with them.
Isa 65:24; "It will also come to pass that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear.
Isa 65:25; "The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent's food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain," says the LORD.

John 14:2; "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.

Our future home is not in heaven.

Our future home is on earth restored and renewed to its original purpose. Heaven and earth reunited.

That's how Jesus can talk about entering the kingdom of heaven and inheriting the earth (land) without contradiction.
So in John 14:2 You think Jesus is talking about going to prepare new jerusalem which will be brought to earth then? Jesus is not currently preparing the earth, not renewing it that I can see, so it couldnt be speaking of the whole earth as a place that has many mansions.

Heb 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,
Heb 12:23 to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Heb 12:24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.

Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),
Eph 2:6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Isa 35:8 A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.
Isa 35:9 No lion shall be there, Nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; It shall not be found there. But the redeemed shall walk there,
Isa 35:10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, And come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, And sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Heb 10:20 By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place.

I already came to the throne of grace, have you not done so already?
You do know the throne of grace is not on this earth, so how did you get there? Plus coming to the throne of grace is not a one time event, it is when ever you need mercy and grace.

Jesus is the throne of Grace. By what scripture are you using to say that we must bodily ascend to Jesus's presence in heaven at the right hand of the Father, to receive grace? See, I just pray, and ask for forgiveness, not sure what you do.
