Living Inside-Out/ Your Inside Is Producing Your Outside
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
In Matthew 7:15-18 Jesus said - 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. What is the point to what Jesus is saying, what you are inside will bare fruit outside even if you are pretending to be something contrary to what you are inside. That's why he said you will know them by there fruit. Fruit is a manifestation on the outside of what's on the inside. That's why he goes on to talk about trees, the fruit of the tree (outside) is the result of what's (inside). He's relating all that he said to people, why. He's showing that a lot of a persons life is coming from the inside. It's not all what's happening to me, but what's coming out of me. The opening scripture, "Out of it," the heart "are the issues of life." Things are coming out of the heart. For example: a person that's dirty, the house is a mess. And you invite them to stay at your nice clean house. Leave and come back in about 2 or 3 weeks and your house will look just like there house. The house wasn't the issue it was the heart of the person in the house. You can put them in 100 new houses and every house will end up looking like their house. Because it's not an outside or fruit issue, but the outside or fruit is only a reflection of what's on the inside.
3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Here we see the same concept you prosper outside as you prosper inside. We know there are some people you can't take anywhere nice, because they will tear the place up. Why, because their inside is working to bring their outside down to it's level. Just like a person that wins the lottery, a lot of times within 4 to 5 years they end up broke and in debt. Why, because they prospered outside without prospering inside. And when you prosper outside without prospering inside most likely you'll loose it. What's the saying- A fool and his money are soon departed. Notice where is he a fool (inside) and where is his money (outside). Your inside life has an effect on your outside life. Like, people that make these "New Years Resolutions", a lot of times they may go maybe a month or two at best and drop them. Why, because if you don't prosper in your soul then most likely you won't prosper in what you are trying to achieve. If you don't renew or reprogram your mind then most likely you will continue to have the same actions. Like, me I don't eat a lot of the things I use to eat. In fact you can't pay me to eat some of the things I use to eat. Why, because I changed my thinking. I renewed/ reprogrammed my thinking now if it's offered to me I have no problem saying, "No thank you." It's natural to me because I reprogrammed.
And The Holy Spirit can help you. Sometimes when I'm out shopping and pick up something Holy Spirit says, "Read that label" and I end up putting it back. All the ingredients that you can't even pronounce. And you have to watch frozen and canned foods they are full of sodium. Your heart plays a huge role in your life and a lot of times people don't realize that your inside is producing your outside. What you have inside will bare fruit outside, Jesus taught on it. In Mark chapter 4 he taught The Parable of the Sower. Where he talks about the heart of a man is like soil and words being seeds. And in verses 26-28 Jesus said, 26 So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; 27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. 28 For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. He's talking about the heart of man because in Luke 17:21 he says, Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. And you get a picture of what he's saying in Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. What is he saying, lest the root of bitterness spring up, well you can't have a root unless seed is sown. For example: you keep complaining to your friend about your man. And after awhile you and him make up, but guess what your friend can't stand him. Why, because of the seeds you sowed into her and those seeds sprang up. Now, she has the bitterness you had because every seed produces after it's kind. And what you released when you spoke them was in them. And now you mad at your friend because she's mad at your man, but you sowed the seeds. The seeds you sowed produced that bitterness.
That also works concerning healing, your heart effects your body. Proverbs 4:20-22 says, 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Life is translated as 1. to revive 2. to nourish up 3. restore to life. Health is translated as medicine, remedy, healing, and cure. The word inside your spirit(inside) will produce that fruit in your body (outside). Your spirit(inside) has a direct influence on your body(outside). And it's what's in your spirit(inside) that will determine what you experience in your body(outside). For example: Talking about Abraham-- In Romans 4:19 it says, And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. But, God promised him that he would have many descendants through the son him and his wife would have. But, their bodies are in conditions contrary for that to happen. What did God give them to fix the conditions of their bodies, words. He changed their names from Abram- High father to Abraham-Father of a multitude and from Sarai-My princess to Sarah-Princess of nations did those words produce that fruit in their bodies, yes. Because, for him to be a father of a multitude and for her to be a princess of nations life is going to have to come their bodies. Well, the word is life and that's the fruit the word produced, life.
The words you take in are important, what you look at and listen to. Jesus said take heed what you hear. Because, what you hear will go into your heart and what goes into your heart can have an effect in your body. Proverbs 15:30 says, KJV The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report(words) maketh the bones fat. I even saw something on the web called, Medical Student Syndrome. Where medical students studying diseases have their bodies start having the symptoms of the disease that they are studying. That's the flip side of Proverbs 4:20-22. Well, if those words had that effect on their bodies, because of the words they took in, what effects you think the word of God will have on your body that you take in. The scripture tells us life and health. Just like you have a natural immume system you also have a spiritual immume system. Proverbs 18:14 (NET) A person’s spirit sustains him through sickness. One translation says: (NIRV) A cheerful spirit gives strength even during sickness. That agrees with Provervbs 17:22 (KJV) A merry heart doeth good like a medicine. Your heart effects your body. So, the heart(inside) has an effect on your body(outside). Also, just like you have a natural digestion system you have a spiritual digestion system. Your natural digestion system Matt. 15:17 Jesus said, Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? Your spiritual digestion system Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart and Matthew 15:18 But, those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart. And when it comes out it produces fruit. Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart(inside) bringeth forth good things(fruit)(outside): and an evil man out of the evil treasure(inside) bringeth forth evil things(fruit)(outside).
That takes us back to where we started at in Matthew 7 if the tree is good the fruit will be good and if the tree is bad the fruit will be bad. Well, the tree and the fruit of the tree are all a product of the roots. Again, what you see outside is a product of what's inside. So, your inside is producing your outside. That's why the scripture says to guard your heart with all diligence. Because, if the wrong thing gets in it then the wrong thing is going to come out of it. And a lot of times people think it's the devil when a lot of times it's just bad fruit. I had something going on with my body and I was wondering what is this, why is this happening and God guided me to the word and I saw that that thing was a manifestation of words that I let get in me . And when I thought back I knew exactly what it was. That's why I can tell it with certainty, because I know it. It wasn't the devil it was fruit. Just like I know Proverbs 4:20-22 works because I did it. Another time when something was going on in my body I did just what that word says and that thing left my body. The word produced it's fruit, but I had to get it in me. So, if you put something different inside you will get something different outside. That's why it says to keep the word in the midst of your heart. The word will always produce the greater manifestation.
Some scriptures to further prove the point:
Job 3:25,26/ 25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. 26 I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came. ( Notice, what he feared(inside) came to him (outside) )
Matt. 9:29/ 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. (Notice again, according to your faith(inside) be it unto you(outside in your body)
Mark 5:34/ 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. (Again notice, your faith(inside) hath made thee whole(outside in your body)
Josh 1:8(Deu 30:14)/ 8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. There's a scripture that goes with this one Due. 30:14 14 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. (So, the word he puts inside is going to make him prosperous and successful outside)
Ps. 1:1-3/ 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Meditation in the word (inside) will produce fruit (outside). Again, fruit refers to a manifestation of what's inside.)
Jesus taught that words are seeds, well if words are seeds then they produce fruit. Every seed produces after it's kind. The job of a seed is to produce something. See your heart as soil and guard it with all diligence, take heed what you take in.
It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen
