SignUp Now!Misleading the congregation is not of the Lord.Well since no one knows when the rapture will happen -- he was right to preach that. Obviously it hasn't happened, but ys never know. We need to be ready 'now'.
What does the word 'soon' mean to you. Better yet how is the word 'soon' used in Scripture?Well since no one knows when the rapture will happen -- he was right to preach that. Obviously it hasn't happened, but ys never know. We need to be ready 'now'.
That must be tempered with the certain understanding that we do indeed know Who holds tomorrow and Whos promises are made to us and through generations. As the passages reveals that word from the prophet came 700 years before fulfillment. The concept in scripture is that 'now' is the day of salvation. Looking at Hebrews 1: 1-2. "God who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the father's by the prophets , has in these last days spoken to us by His Son , whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom He also also made the worlds ...".
In God's eyes -spoken through His Son - in the last days.-- was before we were born. The word 'soon' probably isn't used in scripture.
But the concept being is to be living life as though we don't have tomorrow -- because we aren't assured of tomorrow.
Soon can refer to hrs or days or decades.
Is there anything to being 'ready' beyond trusting in His atonement ?We'd better Not be forgetting about the rapture. And it's no 'so-called' rapture. It will take place at some point in the future and we'd better be ready.
Be 'ready'.for the unforeseen accident that will catch you by surprise. No one is guaranteed tomorrow.
Isnt that the same thing ?Accepting Him, Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
Millions of believers suddenly vanish off the face of the earth...cars abandoned, pilots missing from their planes, doctors and first responders gone...people are going to notice.Actually it says we will be changed in that twinkle , but I dont get your point?
Funny how Jesus though there would be no separation of the good and evil until the end. Perhaps He didnt understand. (M 13;39)Millions of believers suddenly vanish off the face of the earth...cars abandoned, pilots missing from their planes, doctors and first responders gone...people are going to notice.
The rapture is pure escapism dressed in Sunday clothes. The rapture is not escapism. It Is Jesus Christ coming back in the sky and taking all born again believers both dead and living up to be with Him.
Thr second coming will be when He comes back to earth and reigns for those next one thousand years.
Why should born again believers have to experience God's wrath that He will be pouring out non-believers. Those years of tribulation are for the non-beleiving Jews. To get Their attention.
I fear you have confused real faith with slipping your had up while every eye is bowed and every head closed.Realizing your own personal need for Him as your Savior. Not just a head knowledge but an in your heart belief.
