Rapture is soon! Rejoice!

Well since no one knows when the rapture will happen -- he was right to preach that. Obviously it hasn't happened, but ys never know. We need to be ready 'now'.

Misleading the congregation is not of the Lord.
It is like a young man promising engagement ,,,soon , and a year later promises soon again, and 5 years later,,, a wise young girl will allow only a small amount of such nonsense .
Now we add that as you say no one knows it is presumptuous to claim, from a seat of authority, that it will be soon, such a proclamation carries with it specific implications.

What does the word 'soon' mean to you. Better yet how is the word 'soon' used in Scripture?

The concept in scripture is that 'now' is the day of salvation. Looking at Hebrews 1: 1-2. "God who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the father's by the prophets , has in these last days spoken to us by His Son , whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom He also also made the worlds ...".

In God's eyes -spoken through His Son - in the last days.-- was before we were born. The word 'soon' probably isn't used in scripture.

But the concept being is to be living life as though we don't have tomorrow -- because we aren't assured of tomorrow.

Soon can refer to hrs or days or decades.

That must be tempered with the certain understanding that we do indeed know Who holds tomorrow and Whos promises are made to us and through generations. As the passages reveals that word from the prophet came 700 years before fulfillment.

you are all being prepared for the anti christ, not the real christ. Forget the so called rapture and start harvesting the fields, no matter how little or big the project is. Glorify the Holy father and start planting seeds in peoples minds. In these days of the internet, it isnt all that difficult. One well written facebook post could be enough to turn someone in the right direction. Forget the arrival of the beast, he will only deceive you.

We'd better Not be forgetting about the rapture. And it's no 'so-called' rapture. It will take place at some point in the future and we'd better be ready.

Be 'ready'.for the unforeseen accident that will catch you by surprise. No one is guaranteed tomorrow.

Is there anything to being 'ready' beyond trusting in His atonement ?

Realizing your own personal need for Him as your Savior. Not just a head knowledge but an in your heart belief.

Actually it says we will be changed in that twinkle , but I dont get your point?
Millions of believers suddenly vanish off the face of the earth...cars abandoned, pilots missing from their planes, doctors and first responders gone...people are going to notice.

Funny how Jesus though there would be no separation of the good and evil until the end. Perhaps He didnt understand. (M 13;39)

Maybe it depends on the definition of a believer. It's been suggested that there won't be that many being raptured up and it won't be that h was Rd to explain our disappearing.

Are we Rejoicing at the Rapture ???? or at Jesus coming? seems some put more hope in escaping the tribulation then they do seeing Jesus?? Not saying this is the case here but something I have noticed

The rapture is not escapism. It Is Jesus Christ coming back in the sky and taking all born again believers both dead and living up to be with Him.

Thr second coming will be when He comes back to earth and reigns for those next one thousand years.

Why should born again believers have to experience God's wrath that He will be pouring out non-believers. Those years of tribulation are for the non-beleiving Jews. To get Their attention.

The rapture is pure escapism dressed in Sunday clothes.

Gee just maybe what JESUS actually said is a better way to understand the Scriptures , have you even considered Christ in all this ?

3But now I am coming to You; and I am saying these things while I am in the world, so that they may have My joy fulfilled within them. 14I have given them Your word and the world has hated them; for they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

15I am not asking that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them from the evil one.c 16They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth. 18As You sent Me into the world, I have also sent them into the world. 19For them I sanctify Myself, so that they too may be sanctified by the truth.

To get Their attention.

So something was lacking in the signs and wonders and the cross and resurrection ?
The tribulation was to ' grind His enemies to powder'.

I fear you have confused real faith with slipping your had up while every eye is bowed and every head closed.
