Depart from me I never knew you.

These people knew Jesus, they did Christians things,, yet why then did Jesus say depart from me, and send them to hell?

Could it be that they did not know there own heart? could it be they themselves were deceived.

O Lord God almighty let me see any sin in my life, I know Gods word says sin blinds us, Lord God lift any blinders from me, remove any pride from me, I love my Lord and savior ! the Son of God who died for my sins ! Holy spirit lead and guide me to live a humble life pleasing to God in Jesus name I pray.

I ask my brothers and sisters in Christ to pray for me, to grow in Christ !

Matt 25
26 “But his master answered and said to him, ‘You worthless, lazy slave! Did you know that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not scatter seed? 27 Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and on my arrival I would have received my money back with interest. 28 Therefore: take the talent away from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.’
29 “For to everyone who has, more shall be given, and he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away. 30 And throw the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matt 25
44 Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or as a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for Me, either.’ 46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Heb 10
26 For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

Depart from me I never knew you.

These people knew Jesus,
No, they didn't. Or Jesus couldn't have said, "I never knew you."

They knew something else instead. Words from other people attributed to Jesus or divine revelation.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
- Luke 6:46 KJV

Any kind of works based actions saves no one. Eternal life ls only given to those who know God, and God who knows them,

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Any kind of works based actions saves no one.
So you're using the words of the Gospel named John to nullify the Teachings of Jesus in the Gospel according to Luke.

That's a bit whacked, don't you think?

Are you doing the things that Jesus said (taught), Curtis?

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
- James 2:24 KJV

By the LOGOS (Teachings of Jesus),

Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.- James 2:24 KJV
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Nobody is saved by works and if you think you are then it is not by grace through faith!

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

These men in verse 22 were boasting in what they had done through their works, thinking their works saved them.

Jesus tells them the fatal error in their believing.

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Nobody is saved by works and if you think you are then it is not by grace through faith!
So now you're using the words of Paul to nullify and reject the words of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel of Luke? Why? Why would you reject the teachings of your own Messiah? That doesn't make sense.

But LOOK at what you wrote: Focus - read the exact words....
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;
And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
- Luke 2:40 KJV

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
- John 1:17 KJV

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man (Jesus) is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
- Acts 13:38 KJV

Indeed, we have faith that by the Grace of the Father, He sent his Son so that through him was preached a forgiveness of sins that is not found in Moses, or in the words of any other.

So what did Jesus preach about the forgiveness of sin, Curtis?

How did Jesus say that we are all to be saved?

How are you saved? Why did God forgive you your sins? (Presuming that he did.)

These are very serious and important questions, Curtis. Can you give a comprehensive answer? Can you give a comprehensive answer from the Teachings of Jesus (the LOGOS)? If you cannot, then that's really scary.

So now you're using the words of Paul to nullify and reject the words of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel of Luke? Why? Why would you reject the teachings of your own Messiah? That doesn't make sense.
You know what, it is pretty much a waste of time talking to you about anything. You just don't get it.

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Well then you're anointing has failed you Curtis, because that's not what the Greek text says. SEE??? You are placing your trust in the translation of Men. (A long time ago, the anointing told me to look at the Greek.)

και τοτε ομολογησω αυτοις οτι ουδεποτε εγνων υμας αποχωρειτε απ εμου οι εργαζομενοι (worketh) την ανομιαν (lawlessness)

But I'm sure that you won't trust me, and you're not educated enough to trust yourself (you can fix that, you know), so how about the NKJV and Young's Literal?

And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
- Matthew 7:23 NKJV

and then I will acknowledge to them, that—I never knew you, depart from me ye who are working lawlessness.
- Matthew 7:23 YLT

So what is lawlessness? The transgressing of the Law.

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
- 1 John 3:4 KJV

It sounds like you're the one preaching lawlessness.

Rhema

Bear in mind, though, that I don't mean the Law of Moses, but rather the Law of Jesus.
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:
- Luke 6:46-47 KJV

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I (JESUS) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
- Matthew 28:19-20 KJV

Curtis, I think you have let people mislead you about what works are.

You know what, it is pretty much a waste of time talking to you about anything. You just don't get it.
i get that you reject the words of Christ, replacing them with what you think Paul said.

But if you are unable to learn, then it is a waste of your time. And you'll continue to practice a faith of lawlessness.

That's scary, Curtis. That's really scary.
