I do NOT believe in abortion. Granted there may be some cases that perhaps it could be medically necessary. My sister who is one yr. older than I (49) when she was 14 was raped, people kept telling her to abort or give it up for adoption, but she refused & she kept the baby & that baby is now grown, loves the Lord, had 7 yrs. of college is married to a lawyer & they have two beautiful children & when she was born our family had not only gone through the rape of my sister at that time, but another major event happened around that same time, so when this child was born, she was a blessing to our ENTIRE family and still is to this day!
Also, when I was 23 I got pregnant out of wedlock. The man who is the biological father of my now 25 yr. old son I knew had a past, but did not realize just how much of a past he had until I was 6 months pregnant and he was arrested for a hidious crime & went to prison & there I was all alone & pregnant. Everyone tried to get me to abort the baby & I refused, first off because I don't believe in abortion, 2nd off because I felt that the Lord showed me a vision of my son preaching from behind a pulpit one day. I after that had people prophesy & ask me if I knew I had a preacher in my stomach. I said; "Yes I do!" And I raised him in church & taught him how to have a one on one relationship w/Jesus Christ. Today my son has gone to 3 yrs. seminary college & is now is in his 4th yr. of public college to be able to also do counceling as well he has been on the Deans list every yr. of both colleges. And, a yr. ago he was asked to take a church out in Connecticut and he did. He is married to a beautiful young lady (whom i love dearly to say the least) she is not only beautiful on the outside but is very beautiful on the inside as well, which makes her most unique! My son has traveled the world as missionary also. With God & my sons persauna, he has reached people that others cannot reach. There is so much to tell how God has used this young man for His glory. When he was young he had ADHD people told me that he would end up just like his father & would never amount to nothing. People were even so cruel as to tell him this as well. I would put people in their place when they talked negative against my son and ALWAYS ALWAYS told my son that he WAS a SOMEBODY! To this day my son tells me that that is what kept him going cause he says he knew I would never lie to him. As he aged his ADHD left him (Gods healing touch. He is very calm now. I had a test done twice when he was growing up (as refered by doctors) to test his I.Q. because doctors were amazed at how smart he was. The test both times, showed he had the I.Q. of Einstein!
I share these stories in hopes that they may one day help some mother out there contemplating abortion or a child that feels like he/she is a nobody.
Thank you for posting this Cherokee
