I have a question lets say a women or man is a christian ok and goes through phases where they might think they might be Bi-sexual.But they never acted on it at all and wants to maintain thier hetersexual lifestyle despite their curiousity in Bi-sexuality.Would it be a sin to role-play on the computer (not forming any Bi relationship just RP),or daydream about it.If it kept the person from being tempted to try or get involved in the Bi-sexual lifestyle?.And if was would God punish :lightning this individual for their weakness.:kiss: I know he is a forgiving God but I am asking all the same.

In the same breath, if you "think", "look", "dream" or "feel" something sinful, then you won't inherit the Kingdom of God. God will punish you.

1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

Find out a bit more about sodomy, it's basically the worst form of sexual sin.

You are bound to find some situations in your life sister Lone Angel, where you hear answers to questions and it wasn't the answer you were expecting. It won't help getting angry at this.

A simple explanation to say it wasn't you would have been fine, there's no need to act out in anger.

'Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Php 4:9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me--practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.' Instead think on what ever is true...honorable...pure...lovely...anything worthy of praise, think on these things." Fill up life with the good stuff from Jesus."

I recognize that often the world tells us it's okay aka "normal" to check out things. But that is not what the Bible says. Also Satan is very much into lying and would love for a Christian to get caught up in the bondage.

I'd pray for that person for the Lord to speak truth into his/her life and for them to be able to receive God's truth deep in their hearts. And for healing for that person if they have been abused in their life. Healing and Truth. Truth and Healing.

I can tell you the simple straightforward truth: if GOD say somethings is evil, it is evil in any way you try to use it. Role play, real interaction physically, thoughts (purposely dwelling on the thoughts that is), etc.

So the answer is clear: role playing is wrong. How would it be right after all?

Amen & Amen. We live in a society that has been duped into believing that God's love will allow us to live as we please regardless of what the Word of God says. God's love for His Son will not allow His children to live in sin. Scripture exhorts us to live pure and holy lives. Lives that reflect the Savior's life.

Abstain from all appearance of evil. The meaning is to avoid evil in ... He who is not shy of the appearances of sin, who shuns not the occasions of it.
If the person you speak of is involved in role play or anything else, it would be the same as playing dugions and dragons or with a ouja board, The temptation would eventually get hold and drag them in.

There are many scriptures that are very clear who will not enter into heaven. These apply to this topic.

Rev 21:8 But for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.

The word "fornicators and whoremongers" is strongs# 4205 and means:
(the sexual immoral, unlawful sexual intercourse, prostitute)

The word "adulterer" is strongs# 3432 and means: = (the ungodly, evildoers, someone who commits adultery or fornication).

The word "effeminate" is strongs# 3120 and means:
(those who engage in homosexual relations, or who submits his/her body to unnatural lewdness, prostitution)

I would say that daydreaming and role play are a sin because they can get in the way of our relationship with God and anything that gets in the way of our relationship with him is sin.
I speak from experience when i say that role play or dreaming of a same sex encounter is very harmful, because it can make your curiosity worse and deepen your desire to experience a same sex encounter.
Saying its ok for christians to rp or dream such things is a lye from the devil. I know because its a lie i have believed to many times.

That is so right,as Christians we are called to have the mind of Christ.

We are living in a day that homosexuality seems all the more common and the bible says that some cities have demons ruling over them. It's easy to see some cities that have the demon of homosexuality over them: San Francisco, Key West, etc., but although being gay is more common it still doesn't make it right. Crime rates and murder are on the rise from 20 years ago, but does that make it right?

If you got on the internet and plotted to murder someone, how is that "less sinful" than actually murdering that person?

The bible tells us that all sin is the same in the eyes of God and we are all called to repent.

Sister, whoever is going through this should not even play on the devil's playground by entertaining these sinful thoughts. Pray and fast that the Lord breaks those chains of bondage.

Usually when we get caught up in the world it is because we have a heart problem.
