I have to be honest and say that I'm a little upset and discouraged by the lack of activity going on here. I try to put my heart and soul into this little website ministry yet practically no one participates anymore.

Do you not like the site? Do you find it boring or dull? Let me know what it is. I'm all ears.

Its getting dificult to remain motivated to go forth and keep everything up and running.

Please participate and show your care and concern for the site. Thank you.

Thank you Willie for your reply. It was very encouraging in all honesty and believe me I won't give up. I just feel discouraged that 200 people register a few numbers participate (rarely otherwise).

Forgive me but I kinda chuckled at your thread here from 6/09/2004. There were only 200 brothers and sisters registered and 6 1/2 months later Talk Jesus has grown to over 1400! Praise God for His church!

We know that there are some persons who have come to Talk Jesus feeling lonely, lost, weary, hungry, thirsty for fellowship, and seeking God for direction.

One of our brothers shared with me that the internet is another way to reach His church and we want to thank you Father for the shout box window, and the register box that opens doors here.

Please read the testimonies throughout Talk Jesus and read about the transformations that have taken place with people's lives here. Yes, Chad, God has heard your prayers, seen your hard work, and honors your trust and faith in Him.

Please read and meditate on Isaiah 40:28-31 "He will not grow tired or weary" 30: "Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31: but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength"

Chad, the fruits of your labor are from God's cultivating..Press on! We need you and love you, brother!

wow..since yesterday when I read Bobs post it was 1404 members..overnight another 15 added. What a blessing!

Al, I think Chad wrote this message in June sometime..I remember reading it when I first registered in August.. But since I first came to the site, I had a huge break from TalkJesus and when I came back very recently I was so amazed by the presence of God here.. I pray for Chad and all the mods but I really dont think selling things on the site and games is all such a good idea (well maybe Christian literature at a push) but I look at this as a place of worship and fellowship and dont want to find the centre moving from Jesus to other side issues.. As, the reason I love this site so much is the presence of the Lord.. (just my opinion-I think when we focus on how much money can be made here-we lose touch with the real reason of being here-although I also realise Chad has to survive financially-I trust the Lord will always provide enough money to keep His family growing here at TJ)


Anyway all- I love u and I thankyou so much for your amazing friendships, may you be continually blessed by the Lord

This site reminds me of the church congregation I belong to in that it started out small and went through lots of growing pains (still is). But God was and is behind it and Chad and the very earliest members kept plugging away in faith and oh, how it as grown!

Hey Chad, keep on keepin' on! Just remember that even if a thousand come to see what this place is about but only a few come back, the information that people are getting from this place could be planting seeds in their hearts. Don't give up, to be honest I strayed from here for a little bit, and it wasn't because I don't love this place and everything about it...I just fell short...as some of us do every so often. But I'm back and I'm impressed with the amount of work that you have done since I've been gone! You've done an awesome job with this site, from keeping it "real" right down to the cool new games I love you brother and keep up the good work! I'll be praying for ya!

I've found that I get out of it what I put into it. I've been on this site a little everyday since I joined. Just a suggestion...you can introduce forums that are wholesome and light without always getting into heavy discussions about theology. Both are necessary in the life of a Christian but there should be a balance. I think that would spark more interest. I hope this was helpful.
