I agree a balance is essential....the forum needs to be focussed on Jesus but without so much heavy debate that it becomes unwelcoming

Thank you. This posting is still relevant today. I've been on Christian forums that offer activities like a game forum and also forums for people from different demographics to discuss issues specific to them...men, woman, seniors, young people, etc. Just a thought.

I do check in. If I see someone has answered a question with my same answer, I tend not too. I still enjoy this site, but I'm not a chatterbox.

I think people like discussing challenging issues. I have said many times that Christians can hardly agree on anything, so they enjoy discussing controversial topics. The mods tend to keep people in check so as long as people don't get mean and out of hand, theological discussions attract people of all backgrounds, plus people who are searching for answers get to read several different points of view. About the only thing I would discourage, even ban, is Preterism.

You provide a place where we can and I can share our Love for Jesus. I would be lost without my
Daily visit to TJ. This site is wholesome and loving without being judgmental. I know this thread is old
