'And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth,Gen 9:2 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Not sure why specifically
'And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth,
and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth,
and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you;
even as the green herb have I given you all things.
(Gen 9:2-3)

What animal is vain man likened to, and where?
Hi @2BeholdHisGlory,I'm sure there is more unless you are asking for the keywords between vain, man and the animal connected between those two others more specifically?
Job 11:12 For *vain man* would be wise, though man be born like *a wild ass's colt.*
Although I am not sure. Men are be likened to Sheep or Lambs and to Wolves in Zep 3:3 as well as Lions and in places like Gen 49:9 a Lion's welp, Gen 49:14 an Ass, Gen 49:17 & Matt 23:33 Serpents and in Ecc 3:18 Beasts (generally speaking) Oxen 1 Cr 9:9-10 and in Luke 13:32 Herod is called a Fox.
Yes, I thought it was rather wonderful when I saw it. Isn't it strange that you can read a passage of Scripture over and over again, and then one day something within it will suddenly reveal itself to your eyes which you had been blind to before. Praise God!I never would have thought that that was the reason, good to know.
What is it that believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are to reckon themselves to be :-
