Any DC Talk Fans?

DC Talk.... was a fabulous band and I loved them. My favorite song had to be Colored People.

I like to see that many like TobyMac by himself. I'll let him know.

Take another look at DC Talk!

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
I also 'used' to enjoy DC Talk, had all their albums! Then the Holy Spirit started showing me alot about so-called 'real' Jesus honoring music that is totally scriptural according to 'God's' word!
I feel God prompting me to write, no 'warn' about what I am going to share with you.
I urge you all to go this Christian web site that the Lord led me to and now I've been 'set' free and shown what is 'True' Gospel music.

The state of CCM [Contemporary Christian Music] is terrible! The bible says to 'prove all things'! 1 Thess.5:21.
See the 'proof' who these performers really are, who they support and what 'secular' Satanic bands they 'listen' to constantly! My eyes [spiritually] were opened to the 'Truth'! I pray yours will be also!!

Mello-J, I do agree that just because something has "Christian" in the title, it doesn't necessarily mean we should let our spiritual guard down for a moment! Our P&W band leader also happens to be the Youth Pastor at our church (we have a very small church) and he and our Pastor will both tell you that some of the CCM out today is no better than the secular music that we don't even let our kids listen to. Keith Greene was one of the few CCM artists who got it right!

The P&W leader is very selective on what CCM music the band plays, making sure that it's in keeping with scripture and Bible-based. He and another guy on the P&W team also write a lot of the music our church sings and it's definitely Christ-centered music...PRAISE THE LORD! They recently put out a CD that they are giving away for free to anyone interested. All of the literature, videos, cds, etc. that our church puts out is always free to anyone who is interested in it.

This is a good and timely warning, Mellow-J! Thanks for taking a stand for Christ. It's not easy to be bold concerning the truth of such things but I praise God for the boldness He is giving our youth in these days! Thank You Lord!
