ARE WE FAMILY OR NOT?

Are We Family or Not?

I went to a certain church; I attended every Sunday. They called me sister every Sunday. I had become homeless. I had no money and no food. One woman knew of my situation because she asked and I told her. However, she never offered me a place to stay or even a blanket; it was very cold. The Holy Spirit continues to use the error of others to teach me the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

If that had been her sister, daughter or brother's wife; would she have... turned them back into the freezing temps? I tell you NO! She would have taken them in. The world loves their own. Many speak with their lips, but their heart is far from Him. He told us to be doers of the Word, not hearers only. No greater love hath a man than he that will lay down his life for his friend; brother, sister, son, daughter, mother, father, neighbor...

Are we family or not? I was turned back to the freezing temps because she did not know me; as far as knowing a physical, carnal, blood genealogy. Wait... you call me sister, but treat me like a stranger! As Jesus said; You do not know me, because you do not know Him who sent me. Amen. We are bound by the Blood of One; being fitly joined together in unity by One; a spiritual genealogy that surpasses all carnal and physical genealogy. I forgive you; now REPENT!!!!

My woman friend said she had been praying for me one day; and she had gotten a Word from the Lord. She thought the Word she had gotten was for me; but it was indeed for her. She said, "When Jesus is all that is left; that is a good place to be." Yes ma'am, it sure is a good place to be; because I will be with Him where He is. I will not need a blanket to cover me from the cold, or a roof to shelter me from the rain; I will not need a meal or a drink of cool water; You would have let me to freeze to death, rather than show love and compassion for your sister; so God took me from you all.

I love and miss those people, in this certain church very much. I miss the praise and worship leaders; they sang from the heart and the Spirit so alive. They were very receiving of me; unlike the one that drag me off the throne of grace washing God's feet with my tears, for them; they wanted to hear more and live and grow. They are not self righteous, nor high minded. They are real with God and with each other. We all are faced with short comings; and the way to Life, is acknowledging the death we have walked through. Repent of it, allow God to perfect that part within us and pick up our cross and follow Him. He is the Potter, we are the clay. We only grow in Him; when one will speak forth what the Spirit is saying unto the churches. Amen.

All praise, glory and honor be to God.
Sister, I feel for you in all your distress. I can relate to you as there was a time in my life where my wife was in a locked mental institution. My kids were left to their grandparents, and I was about to loose my home. All looked grim and I could not see anyway out. I went to a big Christian convention where thousands of Christians were. I thought to my self maybe someone there could be spiritual enough to discern my troubles and help me in my time of need. I spent the whole day there, and not one person there helped me. The only person who knew what I was going through was the Lord Jesus Christ! I had no choice but to put all of my faith and trust in him to see me through. The Lord strengthened me in my heart and gave me hope that all would well. That was almost 31 years ago, and I can say without any doubt the Lord has never let me down, even when things looked hopeless. The Apostle Paul expedienced the same things as you and I. He describes it here.........

2Co 1:8 Brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the hard times we suffered in Asia Minor. We were having a lot of trouble. It was far more than we could stand. We even thought we were going to die.
2Co 1:9 In fact, in our hearts we felt as if we were under the sentence of death. But that happened so that we would not depend on ourselves but on God. He raises the dead to life. (NiRV)

Paul thought for sure his life was over. What he was going through was more than he could bear. But, then he said all these things happened so he would trust in himself, but in the living God who raises the dead.
The Lord can raise you from death in your situation, it just requires faith, and trust in him on your part.

Rag4acrown, I just read of your experience and I am so SORRY that the people of that church failed you! I admire your mercy toward them even more. God is so awesomely good, and He is right there with you, even when people fail us (and Him) by their neglect. I pray right now that the Lord will deliver you great comfort and blessing, for He alone will come through for you when His children don't. I pray also that these people will receive due chastisement from Him, in the way of solid teaching about loving others---in action and not by lip service as the Lord has even covered that:

James 2:15-17 (NLT)
Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, 16 and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?

17 So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.

My heart breaks for you, and aches for what the people you have worshiped with have missed from the Kingdom.

Amen and I am in agreement with your prayer as well.
They say Faith without works is dead.........seems they have missed out on a very special blessing as well by turning away this precious heart of God...
Blessings

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
James 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
James 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
James 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

Yes our dear Lord never ever fails us....He is all we need

Reminds me of this beautiful touching 19th century hymn

In the heart of London City,
Mid the dwellings of the poor,
These bright golden words were uttered,
“I have Christ, what want I more.”

Spoken by a lonely dying woman,
Stretched upon a garret floor,
Having not one earthly comfort,
“I have Christ, what want I more.”

He who heard them, ran to fetch her,
Something from this world’s great store,
It was needless, died she saying
“I have Christ, what want I more.”

But her words will live forever,
I repeat them o’er and o’er
God delights to hear me say it
“I have Christ, what want I more.”

Oh, my dear, my fellow sinners,
High and low and rich and poor,
Can you say with deep thanksgiving
“I have Christ, what want I more.”

Look away from earth’s attraction
All earth’s joys will soon be o’er,
Rest not till each heart exclaimeth,
“I have Christ, what want I more.”

greetings brothers and sisters,
please do not feel sorry for me, as there is nothing to feel sorry for. I praise God for everything I go through and endure in Him. I write these testimonies for all of us to learn and grow from. Many honor Him with their lips but their heart is far from Him, which is why the majority have dead faith (faith without works is dead). amen.
This woman had an abundance of faith, but does not know the Lord in which she professed to serve. If you have done it to one of the least of these, my children, you have done it unto Me.

The church, as a whole was very receiving of me. They wanted to hear more of the testimonies I carry; however they were not willing to help me in my stay with them. And, God removed me from them, almost 700 miles.
Pray for them. I love those people and this woman very much.
All praise, glory and honor be to God. amen

Indeed, the tree is known by its fruit. And we are indeed to help others, even more so our brothers and sisters. But I have probably just had more experience with those who call themselves christians, attend church regularly, and like to take advantage of others. Perhaps you are blessed to have never experienced this. Just so you know, I wasnt saying you were this way, just warning readers to be aware of this while helping others.
look at it this way... you are not doing it for them, but God. Do all things as you were doing it unto God, that God is glorified and His holy name is being exalted. God is able to convict the heart if they are doing things in malous. amen.
