Baptism?

There was this new guy he came to our town who said he was saved but he never saw Jesus as well as me and you. He had a lot to say because he said he was saved born again.
Some of the believers in our church who were ordained Big time did not believe him. They actually opposed him.
And you know what?
The man they opposed was the apostle Paul
For you see the ordained ones had seen and talked with the Lord but who, who was this man who now came into our midst not ordained by us, who.
Gal 1:1 Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

We all know Paul goes on to write almost the whole new testament.
So yes in your obedience to the Lord another believer can baptize you, he does not have to be ordained.

I guess anyone can baptize in water! But Only the HOLY GHOST baptism is So important!

Mat 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
Mat 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

1Pe 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ

I believe we need both baptisms ! If we can?

the third I count more of an anointing !

One must be born again to be a part of the Kingdom of God.
There are plenty of unregenerate folks who have been baptized religiously but never met Christ. A wet lost soul is a lost soul still.
Baptism cannot save us for only the blood of Christ can do that. It is however important to obey the Word of God and baptism is symbolic of death, burial and resurrection with Jesus Christ.
Baptism was a ritual act for Gentile converts to Judaism which symbolized them entering into a new covenant with Jehovah. This practice was believed to have started after the release from the Babylonian captivity and continues into modern Christendom.

To my knowledge there is no Scriptural regulation regarding who can administer baptism. Traditionally, it is done by ordained ministers. However, in an emergency situation any believer should be able to do it.

Is there anyone out there who actually believes that a loving God is not going to let you in to an eternity of bliss simply because you never decided to take a bath in a church?

I would expect better.

People are Born -Again in many different ways!

Born -again is Salvation!
It is by Accepting What HE DID on the Cross for us and By accepting HIM as LORD of our LIVES!
Salvation is a Personal Relationship One on One forever more! Has nothing to do with others or churches here or anything here!
Its a Great LOVE story between GOD our creator though our LORD JESUS CHRIST ,HE as FATHER and US as HIS HOLY CHILD!

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

He must be allowed to be the LORD of our lives ! HE is already. But WE Must Accept Him as LORD!

Faith without words is dead!
It just means WE must do some kind of action for our faith to work!

Everything we Do . Must be as unto JESUS for His glory and honor!

This is our reason for having our prays answered and for the things we need or want in life!

We cannot trick or lie to GOD! He sees our every thought !
He can deal with anything in our lives! We must be very honest with Him!

He always willing to help us or anything we need!
He wants the best for us!
Once we ask Him , We need too worship Him and Thank Him as if we already had what we ask for!
We might need to wait ?
Or we might nor get it?
Because He only going ton do things that will draw us or closer or that we have more faith!
Still we worship Him.!

You have never been baptized?
Neither was the thief on the cross that was the first saved By Jesus himself! The thief who trusted in Jesus to save. The thief who could nothing but trust in him. So I hope the experience for you is thought out as you go forward among believers to follow Jesus and get baptized in your admission to all that you proclaim to follow him publickly.

God is so good to those seeking his will.

John baptises with water while Jesus baptises with The Holy spirit.

"I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire." -- Luke 3:15-18

Conclusion:

When you accept Christ, you are baptised. For Christ himself does it. Ask and you will receive. I myself asked for The Holy Spirit and I most certainly received, I felt anew.

Of course, you can do it John's way. I think either way allows the Holy Spirit into you. Remember, if someone throws water over you and baptises you but you do not accept, how can the Holy Spirit enter you when you deny it? It's all about accepting.

Shipwrecksoul said it all, remember the thief who believed and accepted Christ as saviour.

Whatever your opinion, all true Christians have been baptised.

He was not the first saved !We do not even know if He was born -again!
Many were Born -again at once !All in the upper room [120] plus all those that came out of the graves [Hell]

No one was saved til Jesus went to heaven and sent back the Holy Ghost!

Pe 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

1Co 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

1Co 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

I personally believe the thief got salvation! Does not mean it is true!

It's true because Christ said it was true. If Christ says something is true, it's true. For his knowledge is from God who knows all.

Being baptized doesn't make you born again. Only Jesus can preform such a thing, man is unholy! We need to get on our face and bag God daily for forgiveness and to save us, their isn't one man on the face of this earth that can fores Gods hand, but our prayers can be brought too the feet of Jesus in hope that He well have mercy on us..... Remember something, man is sinful...

This is false!!

Was Moses and Elias saved? He died way before Jesus?
Matthew 17
<hr color="#ddeeff" size="1">1:And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2:And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. 3:And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. 4:Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 5:While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 6:And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. 7:And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. 8:And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Why would you beg God daily for forgiveness for something he has said that he has already done....Jesus died for the sins of the world and God said that he would look at your sins no more?

He did die for our sins but he didn't die for everyone. No one can truly know if there save for we are a sinful people, everything about us is sinful... we need daily too pray to God and ask for forgiveness and mercy..

Well Skinny, everyone does have their own opinion, but I don't see yours as Biblical. The point is, a "Born Again" Christian looks at their sin, but God said he doesn't. I guess we will all know soon enough, I just pray you are not in bondage to your belief, because God certainly didn't give us a free gift for it to end up doing that!

That's pretty much what I said and accepting Christ is accepting Him into your heart which is asking for him to baptise you. Jesus baptises with fire and the Holy Spirit. Man baptises with water. Guess which is more superior? You could jump up and down and call it baptism - as long as you accept Christ, your sins are forgiven and you are born anew for the Holy Spirit enters you and operates from you.

Jesus die once for ALL. Roms. 6.10. When we sin we do have to ask for forgiveness as it says in 1 John 1.9 He will forgive us our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

God bless
