I really can understand where you come from on all the Witness stuff . When i look at it as an outsider , i would be skeptical too

For myself , after all the confirmations, the first coming from my own mother in a way that made me laugh .

( at the time i was very involved with spiritual warfare . The person we were dealing with was very evil . A human trafficker of children and a lot of other things that were worse )
Those i was working with were more interested in stopping him. But i told them even he was a potential child of God. At this time i began to do fasting as a prayer of conversion for him , i also asked many others to pray for him. Including my mother, a very holy woman.

She told me, the day she started praying for him . She audibly heard someone yelling at her . STOP PRAYING , STOP , STOP . She was in her own house , no one else there. It scared her at first . Then after that had friends come over to pray together for this person. After that first time , they all heard the sound of someone screaming for them to stop praying . They all felt the same, that it was the devil. So they prayed harder ( you know how elderly women are when they dig thier heels in )

He was baptized in dec of 89 , and has been a strong Christian ever since.

I am not asking you to believe . Like i said before , it isnt about me anyways. Its about Jesus. And for me, being obedient to the Lord

Perhaps you can share a bit more about how God told you, and these ‘confirmations’ you received from your mother and others. What you shared above is really vague.

What pain what suffering must these “Chosen Ones” got to endure!

Ya there is a little more on that . It was God who told me about the person . And i was sent it spirit to battle the darkness. Those who i was working with to fight the darkness were Angels

My friend , it is not the suffering that the devil inflicts that is the true pain. The real suffering comes from experiencing the suffering of the Father for His stubborn and lost children

I for one dared not to voice the pain of This day and age, but my post # 103, pertains to The “The Future Indicative” and not this present day.

I'll try to explain where your logic falters.

You make an astounding claim, without any evidence to support it saying you are one of 'the golden lampstands' -aka one of these two witnesses. My presumption based on your post above is that God the Father told you this information? And perhaps you would say that the Holy Spirit within you confirmed this message, so now if that same Holy Spirit that is in you is in me, and Luminary, and anyone else.... that we too would receive confirmation of your information. Is that it?

The flip side (following your logic) is that if we don't receive this 'chain lightning' confirmation, it couldn't possibly be that you have deluded yourself into believing something false..... no. You leap to the conclusion that the Holy Spirit has no presence within us because if we were Spirit filled we would have received confirmation. Secondly, your perspective is that we must not be open to the movement of the Spirit for such a confirmation to occur because we have misjudged you and that isn't of the Lord.... What if we have judged you correctly Bill, and through the power of the Holy Spirit have determined that you've fallen into spiritual deception?

Because the Spirit in me doesn't recognize the spirit in you. No chain lightning Bill. And I have no animosity toward you whatsoever. I pray for you to find rest for your soul and escape from this mental trap you are in.

It wasnt the Holy Spirit in me that confirmed this . After the Lord , ( Father ) asked if i would be His Witness , i saw everything in my mind like a video , and i said yes.

After this i had a lot of spiritual experiences, visions , seeing and talking with Angels . But all this wasnt the confirmation, because like you , i was wary, not exactly the pushover type..

A lady came to me saying the Lord sent her to me. And was there to confirm my questions.

So without speaking outload because i know to Lord knows my mind. I started asking questions . And i asked questions that went to extreems . What is blue and yellow, she said out load green . In my mind i asked my brothers middle name, she said Hunter. This went on for about 20 min , every answer she gave was correct. Then another lady came up to me . She said the Jesus told her i was one of the Two Lampstands.

This was the beginning along with the many spiritual experiences , and places i have been sent to.

I will never tell you i am that perfect person. And i know plenty of people who are much more stedfast in prayer than i am. Or at least it is the way i see it.

When i asked the Lord , why me, His responce was , i trust you.

There are a couple of things that run through my mind. The first is that people give way too much credit to the pagans and to the pagan holidays and all that kind of stuff. Let us think about it this way God created the world the days the nights everything. So why do we give the pagans any credit at all when they are only thieves

I mean you hear it all the time the pagans have this way of doing things or the pagans have that holiday or whatever and my thinking is is that the Christians have only taken back what was there is in the first place

Now as far as how we perceive things to be from the Lord and I really disagree with the preacher and how he is talking about how things happen in your life because there are so many Christians that have been converted over those little experiences that we have had in our life like and having somebody robbers or a number of circumstances that happened in a person's life I mean there's a few of those in the Old Testament even.

I guess my question is if God allows things to happen in a person's life and it brings them to face who are we to judge that and say oh it's a pagan thing because even in the story that the preacher talked about where all these signs from Marshall came to the woman is she not doing something for the Lord is she not wanting to become the missionary with her husband is the preacher saying that that is wrong
