Benefits of Green Tea

Green Tea?

Green Peas, Green Beans yes, but Green Tea? Yuk. My tea is much on the brown side in colour.

I am a tea belly. I drink tea all day. The kettle is always on the boil.

To the disgust of some, I return to my 'pot of tea' even when cold. Mmmm

I will locate such 'Green Tea' and report back.

Wow, I didn't know that drinking green tea had so many health benefits until reading this thread.
I am at that age where I need to switch to more healthier habits - in the case of enjoying a hot drink before a nap (it helps me pass out), I think I'll try switching from decaf coffee flavored with Coffee-mate's Coconut Creme creamer and then sweetened even more with sugar, to having green tea prepared in the way that Chad described.

"Slows the aging process" - this one really sold me on finally trying it...

Something to keep in mind is that not all green teas taste the same, regardless that they are all 100% natural as GOD intended. See, this is GOD not limiting His awesome creation :) He gave us more than one flavor of green tea, coffee, and everything else.

I've tried some funky tasting (dry) green tea and the one I'm taking now is delicious alone without adding honey or fresh lemon. However, green tea is amazing with honey and lemon. No sugar needed, nor suggested.

Tea bags don't work for me, no... they don't!
I need to BOIL the leaves to death and .. I'm good to go!

thing is, my problem is, it tastes like feet! Really!
I feel like I'm drinking smoke? tobacco? grass?
It tastes so weird, I just close my eyes and drink as fast as possible... reminds me of the good old days when mom forced me to drink milk... eeeeeck:coocoo:

Chad, I just kept laughing at you describing it as " heaven "
You are so funny :D

I didnt realize you were a Yorkshire man Stephen,I'm a Taffy myself and we also love a cup of strong dark brown Welsh Brew tea,but for a while now I have been drinking dry leaf green tea,and I actually really like the taste, although I think I'm going to give Chad's lemon and honey version a go,sounds lush.Great post by the way Chad.

Green tea is an ideal nutrition for the weight loss and fitness.
Every person who want to lose the weight and shape up his body he must take green tea daily at least once.
It also has a number of other benefits for our health rather than weight loss uch as cholesterol control, heart protection, and healthy skin.
