Can a christian battle with demons?

Good point. Our enemies (Satan, the world, the flesh) would like nothing more than to get our eyes off the One that defeats them all. Jesus Christ alone is worthy of all our worship.

HI, I wanted to share an experience I had at a time of tremendous spiritual growth, Yes I was visited by a demon. God awoke me and told me to lock my doors. I then encountered a terrible smell and sensation. The demon was putting thoughts in my mind that I would never have or entertain. I began to shout I belong to Jesus, I belong to Jesus. I kept this up for some time, and the demon left. Praise Jesus He has all the power. I must have been in a place to upset satans plan somewhere. Anyway I am grateful that I was rescued from that situation

It's interesting that you say this happened in a time of great spiritual growth in your life. It seems that whenever God is starting something in a person's life, the enemy's always there to try to shoot it down.
