It is the power to be saved as we are saved and kept . We that live in earthen bodies of death have no power of our own before or after.

We have to get Jesus' teachings and do what he says to do to get saved and to stay saved.

In that way if we give up our first love. . God working in us, he calls us back to repentance showing us not to put our trust in the eyes seen .Like Nicole the leader of that sect, Something he says he hates .He gives us ears to hear his understanding . . not the leader Nicole or any man .

He tells us many things to do.
This question is strange to me because it sounds like you don't believe Jesus tells us to do anything.
Could you elaborate more on the thoughts you are having about it?

Has He told us or do we read when He told His Disciples or others and then decide He is/was talking to us?

Some things were just to the Apostles.
As for the salvation he teaches, it is to everyone, and whomever, and all.

What I mean is faith is required to overcome the person's doubt.

Where does our faith come from, how do we come to believe? Our faith/belief comes from HEARING the word, see Romans 10:17. From hearing the word and being TAUGHT, Colossians 1:5, 7. From continuing in what we have been CONVINCED of, see 2 Timothy 3:14, and being PERSUADED, 2 Corinthians 5:11.

So do you understand that we don't get faith supernaturally? We get faith by hearing and believing the supernatural message.
