Can we as Christians yell and swear at God if we are angry with Him?

But can a demanding child listen or will they not refuse to listen, because they believe there is no answer to their complaints for why they are uttering their demands?

that depends on the child -- teens have hormones to deal with. God the Father is the Perfect parent. We, people, are complicated. Lots of times there are No Easy answers. No person on this earth will ever be 'perfect' -- that only happens in heaven. In the meantime -- sometimes a person Will get mad a God for whatever reason. He does Not stop loving us.

And, at 'reg' -- God already knows that we all have an inner struggle going on. We Do have a new nature -- and we Still have the old nature to deal with. Paul said he had an inner struggle going on. This which he Wanted to do -- he found himself Not doing and that which he Didn't want to do - he found himself Doing. and then 'oh, what a wretched man I am'.

The Lord Jesus Christ is bigger than all our faults put together. and He is in us and with us always, but if any one wants to complain to the Lord and really want some answers from Him, they have to be prepared to listen to get it. It may not be the answer they expect.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. 14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Sometime I do not know what to do when scripture seem to point to two options, but I trust the Lord to direct my foot steps.

Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Commit in the verse above means to "entrust" as in entrust your way unto the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

It seems we're in agreement that believers will struggle characteristically, but my point is we should always exercise having the mind of Christ when we present information about this walk and struggle we have as Christians, and not give carnal allowances that speak contrary to the mind of Christ. If Christ says put anger away from you; we do not say, it's okay to be angry because we are in the flesh. Yes, scripture tells us to be angry, but it doesn't tell us to continue being angry in life; it says put anger away from you. God knows a person cannot come to him as a babe in Christ and not be angry. The whole purpose of God's Grace is when we mess up and fall, God will not impute or account sin unto us because of His Grace. We can get back up without guilt and continue to exercise godliness until we get it right. God desires to witness us bringing our bodies into subjection as Paul said he does. We must stop justifying weakness saying, "I can't because I'm still in the flesh;" that is the biggest excuse ever. Especially because God has said He has given believers power over the devil. God said, all things are possible to them that believe (Mark 9:23). It is God that said, if we plant and water; He will give the increase.

1 Corinthians 9:27
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

i'D MOSTLY AGREE -- (MY KEYBOARD IS MESSED UP -- THE CAPS KEY SEEMS TO BE STUCK ON ALL CAPS) BUT THERE IS STILL SATAN ALL AROUND US. hE KNOWS OUR EVERY WEAKNESS AND MAKES BAD THINGS vERY APPEALING. aND, SOMETIMES, WE REALLY dON'T WANT VICTORY EVEN THOUGH IT'S AVAILABLE TO US. aND OTHER TIMES WE REALLY dO WANT VICTORY AND 'THERE IT IS'.

iT'S LATE -- TOMORROW IS sUNDAY. HAVE A GREAT DAY.

I hope it's clear that my talk of brattish children was not directed at you personally. But just in case -- I was thinking of myself first, then other children of God in general.

Again, I don't see how it's possible to honour God wholeheartedly if we are not honest and open in his presence.
