I tried to install the first link as you advised.

It took about 12 minutes to download and at the very last second - literally, the message came up that it could not do it.

I give up!

I will try to get somebody to sort it out for me, but when that will be, I just don't know.

Last night, Chad gave me a link to help me to get it sorted. After 22 minutes of downloading this link, the same message came up to say that it couldn't be done.

Consequently, I know for certain that it must be my computer (or the way that I am doing it!!!!!!!!) as I have tried so many different links that people have provided and I get the same problem every time.

Yes, I wish that you could be here in Germany too because I guess that the likelihood is that it is probably more likely that it is the way that I am doing it, rather than my computer. If somebody was here who knew what they were doing ...

Still, I have friends ...

I have another online friend who is in Germany. I think she lives in Hamburg.

She has a lot of knowledge about pc's. Has helped me at different times via links to download stuff. She has cancer all over her body and has been in poor health and I have not heard from her recently.

What I meant was that I have friends here in Germany who can help me with my computer. I just don't know when they will be able to help me. Hence, watch this space as one day, I will surprise you all by being in the chatroom!!!!! - LoL

The good news is that I have contacted a friend who says that he will be able to have a look at my computer sometime next week and install the necessary programs for me.

HURRAH!!!



This will be the test as to whether it is my computer that has the problem or my computer skills!!!!!!

I can predict which it is - LoL!!!!!!



So by this time next week, I should be able to get into the chatroom. Can't wait.

So, how do you get prayed for in the prayer room?

Do you have to arrange with somebody to go in there to pray together?

How do you know if somebody is in the prayer room?

How do you know if people are praying in the prayer room? The sign says don't interrupt a prayer session, but until you go in there, you don't seem to know if anybody is praying. By that time you have already interrupted!!!!!!!!

Confused!!!!!!!!!

Dear apple

It is all very easy actually. You only need to refrain from interrupting someone praying in the room you are actually in. If you want prayer you just ask whoever is there to pray for you or you can both choose to go to the prayer room. You can click on the square button to see who is in prayer room. If there is someone in there it will show you by a number of how many are in there. Like when we were in Bible chatroom there was a number 3 showing 3 people were in there. Bible chat -3

Just by entering a room is not interrupting but talking to someone when they are praying a prayer would be interrupting.

Hope this clarifies things for you.

Just to let you know, I'm earnestly seeking a better chat room.

My goal:

- better integration into vbulletin (the software this site uses)
- built in mp3 player, which actually DOES match the rest of the site theme lol
- more mp3's
- less cpu intense on member side, likely not requiring specific software like flash plugin or java.

I'll hopefully find something suitable, more stable and more user friendly within 1-2 months. I cannot settle just for any software out there.

I went to bed feeling very disappointed. I had waited nearly 6 weeks to get into the chatroom and then I was there and nothing happened! I wanted to pray with somebody. I still haven't had this 'praying' experience in the prayer room.

It might seem silly to you, but I just wanted to pray with somebody!!!!!!!

When you want to pray with someone you can click on their name in the chatroom and send them pm which will pop up on the screen to get their attention. You left suddenly last night and I went to bed without seeing you there again.

I would be happy to pray with you in the prayer room. I am around a lot today although at home not always at my pc. I hope you will be able to talk to me today.

We are praying for you even when you are not around. It will be good to pray for you in the chat room as you will be able to agree with the prayers by saying amen to them.

I was in the prayer room for about an hour last night. One other person came in and I later found out in a PM that she had written words, but they were not able to be seen on my screen. She stayed for about 20 minutes. Other than that, I was there by myself.

Still, that was yesterday, today is a new day ...
