Christians - Believers are to Go Out from Unbelievers and be Separate from Them

The following scripture supports brothers (male believers) living together in groups of two or three. And by extension this verse supports believers living together as roommates and neighbors in one or more larger groups on one or more plots of land, separate from unbelievers.

Holy Bible - Matthew 18:18-20 (ESV)

18 Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed[f] in heaven. 19 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

And so where at least two (or more) brothers in Christ are gathered together in the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus is there among them, and whatever they agree on, our Father in heaven will do for them.

Of course this passage does not require brothers to live together as roommates or neighbors, but only to physically gather together in each other's presence.

However, it is far better for brothers (and sisters and mothers) to live together on one plot of land separate from unbelievers, than to be scattered among the unbelieving, as is now the case.

Paul talks about unbelievers in the church.

1 Cor 14:22; So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign, not to unbelievers but to those who believe.
1 Cor 14:23; Therefore if the whole church assembles together and all speak in tongues, and ungifted men or unbelievers enter, will they not say that you are mad?
1 Cor 14:24; But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;

Here's another passage that asserts...

Believers / Brothers in Christ are to Physically be Around One Another Every Day

Holy Bible - Hebrews 3:7-19

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says,

“Today, if you hear his voice,
8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
on the day of testing in the wilderness,
9 where your fathers put me to the test
and saw my works for forty years.
10 Therefore I was provoked with that generation,
and said, ‘They always go astray in their heart;
they have not known my ways.’
11 As I swore in my wrath,
‘They shall not enter my rest.’”

12 Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. 13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called “today,” that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end. 15 As it is said,

“Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

16 For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses? 17 And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient? 19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.

...

I conclude:
to not make an effort to physically live with or around believers as neighbors or roommates is to disregard scripture.

to not make an effort to physically live with or around believers as neighbors or roommates is to disregard scripture.

So, does it affect your Salvation, by which I mean one loses it, or just makes the life we live a more difficult one since we lack the structure a community provides?

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

You are putting a new meaning or reading into scripture.

When we are called to SEPARATE ourselves from the unbelievers we are told to be different and holy people. We are not to think, speak or act as the world and it's system does.

Your effort in connecting the scriptures together that you did is in error.

We are to not forget about fellowship with the brethren but this in no way says to not be around unbelievers.

We are to be examples which means seen.
Unequally yoked with an unbeliever has nothing to do with living or working around them.

Please forgive any typos I miss. I have a shattered screen.
Blessings

Christians need to be around each other, separate from unbelievers. This best makes it possible to love as commanded. Satan's system currently has believers separated and surrounded by unbelievers.
Your first quote was.....

Romans 12:14 (ESV)
"Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them."

If you only lived around other believers then how are you ever going to be persecuted? If you come across a person who is not believing like you believe, do you bless them by telling them they are deceived?

Even the Pharasees thought of separation from themselves and non-believers.

Romans 3:23

Even the Pharasees thought of separation from themselves and non-believers.

Romans 3:23
Yep and they were all about the law and rebuked by Jesus very much.
They placed themselves above every one else.

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 and what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Nothing in these verses says that we are to not live or work or be around unbelivers.

We are to be a light unto them which means not hidden away.
We are to be a Holy People which means not like the world but like it is written in His Word.

There is a time to be gathering together with the brethren but never is it said only be around them.
Blessings

If we are to be completely separated from unbelievers then there would be no purpose for the Church to be left on this earth.

We will be with fellow brothers and sisters in heaven for not one year, not a thousand years, not a million years, not a billion years, not a trillion years, not a centillion years...for all of eternity. Surely, surely, surely God wants us with unbelievers for now. For these measly seventy odd years. We will never ever ever ever ever interact with the wicked as we can now.

I believe God will place my home right in the middle of the worst of the unsaved. He spreads us out as we are the salt of the earth.

Matt 5:13 You are the salt of the earth.
Matt 10:16 I send you out as sheep among wolves.
1 Cor 5:9-10 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people. 10 Not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.

1 Cor 5:10 is literally saying that we are here chiefly to reach the unsaved. If we can't do that and cacoon with the saved only, we may as well go to heaven now. Paul could not be clearer.

Christians - Believers are to Go Out from Unbelievers and be Separate from Them

Holy Bible - (NKJV)
2 Corinthians 6:14-18

14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”

17 Therefore

“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
18 “I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”

.......
This is not being done. Churches are apostate, not doing as commanded.

This seems to be in the context of fellowship.
Believers are supposed to seperate themselves from unbelievers in their worship practices and assemblies to their Gods.
Is one thing if nonbelievers cleave onto believers but ideally believers are not supposed to cleave unto nonbelievers when it comes to fellowship, worship ,etc
Living together, commuting together, friendships, servantile work together does seem acceptable.
