@GodB4Us Accepting God is is personal, conscious choice made by a sane, coherent person.
Babies and children do not have the age, mentality of life experience for that and a few kids who are ahead of others do not define the rest.
It's also logical that any underage child is not forever a baby or child but aged to a prime adult age and has the intelligence to match.
Will aborted babies find their parents in Heaven should they repent and follow God? Of course!
Will the abandoned babies and children who die do the same? Of course.
As Jesus spoke in parables but also lay terms then "child" and "babe" are not only referring to babies and children.
As a new Christian one is a babe or child as the Old is gone and a new person is "born again" remember?
People have used analogies throughout our history. It would be worse for someone to cause a young one to stumble as they are too young to fully understand.

Our accepting God is a personal conscious choice of the Father's will to draw any one that seeks Him unto the Son to reveal His Son to us so we can believe in Him to be saved as our believing in Him is a manifested work of God the Father.

One of the reasons why we are to give thanks to the Father in Jesus's name.

@MedicBravo I can only hope the Lord will continue to minister to you in showing you the truth in His words but I reckon since we all prophesy in part and know in part, we will know everything when we see Him face to face that God the Father is able to save babes & little children and even those in the womb and I can see you praising Him all the more as I would too. I know there will be a time for great repentance among us but I don't see it it any significant number.
There are some that are simply so far gone and you can't sincerely say without a lot of effort and prayer you can forgive them.
There's no Truth to show them. Many have chosen their side and those not with us are against is.

The Lord did prophesy how bad it will be in the latter days where many will go astray and only a few find that narrow gate i.E. Jesus Christ as the only way to come to God the Father for anything in prayer 1 Timothy 2:5 ^ Hebrews 4:12-16, in fellowship 1 Corinthians 2:2 & & 1 John 1:3-7 in worship in John 13:31-32 & Philippians 2:5-10 as the only way to honor the Father is to hoor the Son which is the standard of judgment raised on ever saved believer per John 5:22-23

The best way to avoid that iniquity and being left behind because of it is to narrow he way back to the straight gate Luke 13:24-30 and may we trust the Lord Jesus Christ to help us keep our eyes on the Son since the Bridegroom will be coming soon. John 10:1 & John 14:6
