MORNING

The righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe. Romans 3:22

He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 2Corinthians 5:21

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us. Galatians 3:13

Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. 1Corinthians 1:30

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour. Titus 3:5, 6

I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for Whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith. Philippians 3:8, 9

Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children. Ephesians 5:1

MORNING

Let us go forth unto Him without the camp, bearing His reproach. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. Hebrews 13:13, 14

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1Peter 4:12, 13

As ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. 2Corinthians 1:7

If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the Spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. 1Peter 4:14

They departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. Acts 5:41

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. Hebrews 11:25, 26

(having esteemed the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking toward the reward. Hebrews 11:26 - Berean Literal Bible )

Thank you Br. Bear. These devotions that you post each day really mean a lot to me. This one especially lifted my spirits this morning....
As ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation. 2Corinthians 1:7

My sufferings have been physical rather than from people persecuting me. Ever since Bible College in 1975 I have not had any relief from physical trials which have come as soon as one passed, another came. The list is very long. At 76 years of age, I can't wait for the "consolation".

Brother Chopper,

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself.
Philippians 3:20-21

Behold, Thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part Thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Psalm 51:6

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
Proverbs 20:27+30

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.;
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2Corinthians 4:7;16,17,18

Ephesians 3:14-21
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of Whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

He hath made Him to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 2Corinthians 5:21

Pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold; ... but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you. 1Peter 17:20

The love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: and that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again. 2Corinthians 5:14, 15
