Dealing with Rejection

These last few posts are making me somewhat naucious.

Will try to enjoy the rest of this Sunday.

I have noticed over the years, that liberal hollywood producers dont like to promote men anymore as hero's, even though the few they do, rake in lots of money and popularity (marvels top hero's are typically men). They remake ghostbusters, all women is just one example. They promote feminine males or homosexual/bisexual males more commonly when there are men. Its the same in fiction in books. Its the way to make men more meek, hollywood is trying to change our country and they seem to be doing a good job at it. If satan could have waited another generation, it would have been easier to knock this country out in any war. Even on the superhero movies, they are switching to females as the mainline superheros, at least several are lesbians or bisexual. They want us to identify women as wiser, stronger, and more to be admired. If you watch commercials, you will notice they show women as the wise ones, and men as dumb, clumsy, and clueless... same result that is desired by hollywood which is controlled by demonic forces.

But... men are to find women who support christian values in addition to proclaiming christianity. They rarely do. Even most (not all) christian men, will have sex before marriage and play the field until they settle down with the one they want to raise their children or when they decide they need to become more responsible. Putting your seed into some woman, not caring about whether that woman might want to abort it, or if she is taking some kind of drugs that addiction can be transfered over to your child if the child is born is horrendous. And when men get a woman pregnant and dont want to be a father, so they run away, and the woman makes the decision to carry it to term, it will be raised without a godly male influence most likely, more likely to grow a warped mind thinking men bad. So the man makes it worse. Almost like the garden of eden, after the fall, when confronted, they both blame someone else, not taking personal responsibility. There in nothing wrong with marrying a women who had kids from another man.... IF they have changed, and not just trying to find someone to help with the child, or to pay the bills, and they accept that the man is to be in charge spiritually in the family, if they cant do that, then run the other way.

Finding a husband or wife should Not be like looking for a car or a pair of shoes. But that's many times what it turns out to be.

Maybe what Should be considered More is Why do 'we' want to get married. Are we being the 'mate' we are looking For? Maybe 'we' should be more concerned about being the men and women God want's us to be.

And sometimes when we've been married for a long time and our mate dies -- we have no idea of how to be single. We are actually looking for another person to 'complete' us once again. Thanksgiving / Christmas times are family times and with no family around -- it can be Hard.

There Was a relationship that I Thought might be going somewhere -- but it Didn't -- well --it Did go somewhere -- so I now know somewhat what rejection feels like. Sort of / kind a.

Our small church recently lost our pastor to COVID -- we're all about the same age -- so this has been quite a difficult time. And for his wife, also. We are determined to keep the church going. We are actually trying to find pulpit supply and a new pastor in the midst Of COVID. The pianist had been out and is now back. So -- we Are seeing positives.

But feelings of rejection can come in many forms and for many reasons. Sometimes loosing a person in our lives Will bring us closer to God. But we all do need each other.

Dear Sister Sue,
Prayers going Heavenward for your Church, and in particular your Pastor's wife, who I'm sure is suffering the loss/separation of her husband. May she be comforted in the promises we have to hold onto in Christ Jesus. It's in His name I pray, for your Church, and the Pastor He will bring to Shepard this part of the Body of Christ, His Church!.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Amen Kitty!! I remember as I prayed the Lord wanted me to work for the Quality Inns as a night auditor. So I went there to apply, and was told " I am sorry we are not hiring at this time". ok I waited 2 days then did the same thing, again I was told we are not hiring at this time, I went back into prayer to find out where I missed it?? Holy Spirit told me know you understand what enduring is and means!! Continue in your faith.

Ok so for, and I kid you not,for almost 2 weeks every couple of days I did the same thing. LOL It got so bad then when the employees saw me coming they fled!!! LOL So one afternoon as I was coming in again to check, the manager saw me coming, and he met me at the door and said" For almost 2 and a half week you have been coming here looking for work.you must really want to work here,so I will tell you what I will do,I will hire you part time as a night auditor, and if you work out you will get full time , do we have a marriage??" that is truly what he said! I got the job the Lord led me to,and in a week i had full time!!!! NEVER EVER give up your Faith!!!
