The preacher was Kenneth E. Hagin. I saw the video years ago. If I'm not mistaken, Kenneth Copeland was in the room that day also and under the influence of that spirit. The scene is chaotic. The Holy Spirit doesn't inject chaos into evangelistic meetings.

I am not here to defend Mr Hagan or any others in this video the Holy Spirit can and does bring joy that may manifest in laughter.

I agree with Boarneges that God brings joy that brings about laughter. I have laughed many times and so it is from experience. However I have seen in you tube a lot of so called joy that is essentially demonic. anything uncontrollable and chaotic cannot be from god of order. God is never source of chaos and confusions. See verse below from Gal 5:
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
i dont comment on the video but i believe God can overwhelm people with His spirit so that people fall down.
and if people fall down i wouldnt set my focus on that, while determining if this is from God.
because if they land safely it sounds orderly after all, while at first place it may look like disorderly. unless people hurt them self or something else bad happens
God's spirit is so overwhelming look what happened to king Saul: (and it doesnt seem orderly!)
1Sa 19:23 And he went thither to Naioth in Ramah: and the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.

The Joy of the Lord is pain and laughter. I know what it is first hand to be drunk in the spirit, that was umpteen years ago, I pray God will touch me that way again. It is absolutely refreshing to the body soul and mind. However if you have never experienced it, you would have no idea what it might look like or feel like.
I am not a fan of any of these preachers, whether they preach and teach amiss I have not really listened to them enough to know. But this I do know; from Luke 9:49-50; Now John answered and said, “Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.”
But Jesus said to him, “Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side.”
The church; meaning all Christians as a body, are asleep, and in this dazed condition they pick each other apart instead of minding their own business, going about doing the Lord's work. There are people who do not even understand what the gospel is for goodness sake!
My question is, is the person who posted the video in the mind of Christ? Is he concerned for other Christians? Look at the time he spent interjecting his opinions and judgments, rather than searching his own life and the scriptures. Sorry, but, I'd rather be at a evangalistic meeting laughing in Jesus name than trying to make them all look evil.
Is your oil lamp full? Are you looking for the groom to come? It is going to happen so quickly. I dont want to be in the middle of tearing someone down when the Lord comes for His bride, do you?

im not commenting on the video but i dont think its right to judge others who worship God by their spontaneusness. what i mean is same as in these verses:
2Sa 6:14-23 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod. (15) So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet. (16) And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart. (17) And they brought in the ark of the LORD, and set it in his place, in the midst of the tabernacle that David had pitched for it: and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD. (18) And as soon as David had made an end of offering burnt offerings and peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD of hosts. (19) And he dealt among all the people, even among the whole multitude of Israel, as well to the women as men, to every one a cake of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine. I have been prayed for and it felt as if someone knocked me in the head and stomach...but according to my witnesses, cause now we are on trial, the pastor barely touched my head.
You don't have to believe that it happens, and to those folks it probably never will.

Let be honest dears. many Christians these days avoids to "judge". but if we cannot judge, how do we know anything as anything? We must judge to say there is such a thing as wrong. we should rebuke each other when we slide off line, that is what the Bible says and that is to judge. The thing which is wrong is to judge hypocritically or basing our judgement on our own mind.
That being said, the scripture above doesn't justify the chaos in video unless you say the video is forgery. if it is genuine, then the activities are unbiblical. I just can't buy on it unless there is plain teaching of scripture.

What do you think the people looked like at pentecost when the Spirit filled those first believers? They appeared drunk.

What do you suppose demons would do to a body of believers when they get drunk in the spirit? Or are you saying everyone there is of the devil? Every person there?
Prove to me with scripture it could not happen.

It seems to me that the he is making a mockery of the events of the Pentecost.. He concludes that the people who witnessed the annointed masses, were drunk to think that the anointed were drunk and then suddenly, everyone goes into chaotic madness for all I can make of it..
There's just something wrong about that video even though I can't quite pick it out at the moment.. I'd go with what the maker believes it was.. It just doesnt sit right in my mind and I must say I have never seen anything of the sort, it is truly disturbing...

So what? you are defending it, and you seem to say it is okay. Then are you speaking contradictions? Isn't it hypocrisy to hide your side? Let your yes be yes and no be no right?
Were they laughing uncontrollable like that? Jumping on piece of paper like that? Chaos like that? No way! Remember the people at Pentecost were mocking them, but I am not! They were speaking great things of God, not just doing stupid things like that. This scenario is very different from Pentecost experience.
I believe in Living Spirit but I'm sorry that isn't Spirit who made ordered universe out of chaos. He is not Spirit who filled scripture with order and logic. He is not the Spirit of Grace, Our comforter. Where on the bible do you find that thing? Jo? yes! Chaos? Noooo!

I am Spirit filled believer and I'm judging what is happening there. It is unbiblical. The people there are either hypocrites at worst or deceived at best. Many fall under latter category. but being deceived doesn't justify the actions. they will remain wrong.
What if I dabble with occult, will it be "christian-occult" simply because I'm believer? No, I need to repent and get back to the line regardless of my honesty or intention

I never watched the video because it mentioned that it was disturbing. I have been filled with laughter before and it was beautiful. I just was laughing throughout my morning at work and it was a beautiful thing. To explain, I told the senior I was working with that I had the joy of the Lord and she asked me what it was so I told her. So in that wayas a bit of a testimony it was really good also. It is nice to be so light hearted. It was not chaotic or uncontrollable and it made both of us happy.
I didn't watch the video because if its as bad as I have been reading I don't want to watch it. My mind is like a taperecorder and it would play over and over in it, so I opted not to watch it. I just know that when laughter is actually a gift from God it is wonderful and for me it did have a purpose also.

Veracity, keep in mind that evstevemd comes from Tanzania, a country on the continent of Africa where demonic activity is prominent. He may have had some personal experience of demons at work.

Sounds like you've had a really nice day! I had a similar experience not long ago ...
I was filled with the Holy Spirit, I felt so much joy! It was early in the morning and I was in my school, and the rest of the class were supposed to do 5 minute long presentations about a city (I had already done my presentation a few days earlier).
I was constantly smiling and suddenly I started laughing. My friends were giving me weird looks, and one of them asked me if I would do their presentation for them - apparently they thought I was happy because I had done my presentation already ...
I really agree with you and Boanerges and some other people (I don't remember the names): dancing, shouting, laughing (feeling joy) doesn't have to be chaotic or uncontrollable ... It is what we do to express our thankfulness.
The reason I feel a bit disturbed by the video is that I can't feel God's glory, holiness and joy in it ... which makes me suspect that it's fake; that the people in the video are just doing what they think that they're "supposed to do", which (sadly) is very common.
But I don't want to judge them and say that it's demonic or anything like that ... because I don't think it is. I just think that it's an (in lack of better words) "over-charismatic" church ...
