Jeremiah 25:31–33 KJV
31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the Lord hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the Lord.
32 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

2 Peter 3:10 KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Isaiah 25:4–7 KJV
4 For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.
5 Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
6 And in this mountain shall the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Isaiah 30:25-27 KJV
25 And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.
26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the Lord bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.

26 AMERICA’S LAST WARNING

27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:

Revelation 16:8–9 KJV
8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Malachi 4:1 KJV
1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Isaiah 65:14–19 KJV
14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for
sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Believers in Christ are also called servants. If you are a Christian, you have asked God to forgive your sins. You have humbled yourself before Him and asked Jesus to put His Holy Spirit in you. You now believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for the sins of all who will repent. You believe Jesus rose from the dead and is sitting at the right hand of God. When the Devil accuses you before God of sinning, Jesus tells His Father that you are one of His. He will say that He died for your sins, so you are not guilty. All Christian believers are those mentioned in Isaiah 65:15 who are called by another name.

After the battle of Armageddon, all the people on earth will be brought before King Jesus for judgment.

Matthew 25:31–40 KJV
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels
with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye
gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

One day, every Christian will bow before Jesus and be judged. Jesus will thank anyone who has accepted God’s gift of salvation by faith in Jesus for every kindness we have shown to one of His brethren. God will adopt all the believers in Jesus as His children. That will make us the brethren of Jesus. If you want to be kind to Jesus, be kind to other Christians. Don’t overlook being kind to your own family members who are saved. They are Jesus’ brethren also.

Matthew 25:41–46 KJV
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me,
ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
194 AMERICA’S LAST WARNING 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I
say unto you, Inasmuch
as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

What is going to happen to the unrighteous people who are not kind to Jesus’ brethren? They will go into everlasting punishment. But what does that mean?
When a nonbeliever’s body dies, his spirit goes to hell where it is awake and feels pain, great heat, and hopelessness until the great white throne judgment. The Scriptures have no teaching of purgatory or any holding tank where a wicked person might be given a second chance.

Luke 16:19–31 KJV
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine
linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

ARMAGEDDON 195

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send
him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

When you are in hell, you will be awake and alive and in great torment from the heat and dryness caused by the flame. The rich man mentioned in these last verses is still there today, as he has been over two thousand years. He has no hope of ever recovering from his situation! This area is the coldest part of hell.

It is the timeof the end because Zephaniah 1:14–2:3 teaches that the great day of the Lord is near. It is near and hasteth greatly when Israel, the nation not desired, is gathered. Therefore, the end of days started in 1948 when Israel became a nation.

Zephaniah 1:14–2:3 KJV
14 The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.
17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.
2 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
2 Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the Lord come upon you, before the day of the Lord’s anger come upon you.
3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord’s anger.

This Scripture very clearly teaches that when the Jewish people are back in the land of Israel, the day of the Lord’s judgment is soon!

Eric.......I agree, it is soon coming

This should compell us to lift up our voices and warn the lost

We need to be about the fathers business

That is why I wrote my book "America's Last Warning". God told Daniel that at the end the wise shall understand the prophecy that was sealed.Daniel 12:4,10

Doomsday Dilemma Diagnosis Direct from Daniel

That is why I wrote my book "America's Last Warning". God told Daniel that at the end the wise shall understand the prophecy that was sealed.Daniel 12:4, 10

Jesus "commanded us to understand Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy (Matthew 24:15)." (Jack Kelley - Grace Thru Faith study) - (gracethrufaith.com/ikvot-hamashiach/no-one-knows-the-day-or-the-hour-2/)

First I will start by saying that absolutely no one knows the date of the Rapture or the Second Coming of Christ except God.

Second, the only place that Scripture would record it is in Daniel 9:25. This would be in accordance with the dual prophetic or cyclical fulfillment of Scripture as recorded in (Ecclesiastes 1:9): "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again."

(verse 25) - Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

The word "know" (yada - H3045) means: To know by observation and reflection.

The word "understand" (sakal - H7919) means: To give attention to, to look at, consider, ponder.

We are told that we will know by observation and reflection if we give attention to and consider.

The word "commandment" (dabar - H1697) means: A word. It refers to what is said, the actual "word" itself.

The word "restore" (shuwb - H7725) means: To return or go back.

The first occurrence of this word is when God told Adam and Eve that, "In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. (Genesis 3:19)

The word "build" (banah - H1129) means: To build, rebuild, establish, construct.

On December 5, 1949 and reiterated on December 13, 1949 Israel's 1st Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion gave a commandment (the actual "word" itself) that they would "restore" and "rebuild" Jerusalem as the new capital of Israel.

En route to: The Jerusalem Day

On December 5, 1949 and reiterated on December 13, 1949 Ben Gurion declared that Israel "would not permit the forced disconnection of Jerusalem from Israel... But for the State of Israel there has always been and always will be one capital only - Jerusalem the Eternal." - (knesset.gov.il/docs/eng/bengurion-jer.htm)

On January 23, 1950 Israel's Knesset called for the construction of a government complex and a Knesset building in Jerusalem. (the actual "word" itself) - (knesset.gov.il/review/ReviewPage.aspx?kns=1&lng=3)

The word "weeks" (shebuah - H7620) means: a proper passive participle of (H7650) derived from (H7651): A week (specifically of years)

69 years from this commandment either 12/(5 or 13)/1949 or 1/23/1950, using the prophetic 360 day year calculation: 2017

Jesus knows what is in the Bible. If the date of his appearing or the second coming where in the, Bible Jesus would know it. Since the Bible says only God the father knows the time, it can not be in the Bible.

Jesus knows what is in the Bible.

So true.

If the date of his appearing or the second coming where in the, Bible Jesus would know it.

So true. However, Jesus was not present on earth when this commandment was given in 1949 and 1950. How would He have known?

"You know the Bible does not gives us an end date for the last generation at least not in so many words... But Jesus commanded us, He said, "When you begin to see all of these things, recognize I am at the door." (Matthew 24:33) That gives us the general time, and we're supposed to know it. We're commanded to know it." - (Hal Lindsey - Hal Lindsey Report 12/14/12 - hallindsey.com/)

How are we supposed to know a commandment from Christ if it's not in the Bible?

"But no where can I find a single verse prohibiting or even discouraging speculation about its timing. On the contrary, I find that the Lord rebuked the religious leaders of His time for not expecting Him, and in doing so encouraged us to be aware as well. For example, commanded us to understand Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy (Matt. 24:15), He criticized the Pharisees for not being able to read the signs of the times (Matt. 16:2-4), and had Jerusalem destroyed for not recognizing the clearly foretold time of His visitation (Luke 19:41-44). Paul warned us not to let events leading up to the Day of the Lord take us by surprise (1 Thes. 5:4), and as we see above promised that the Lord would award a crown to those who longed for His appearing." - (Jack Kelley - Grace Thru Faith - "no one knows the day or the hour" - gracethrufaith.com/ikvot-hamashiach/no-one-knows-the-day-or-the-hour-2/)

Since the Bible says only God the father knows the time, it can not be in the Bible.

Once we are with our LORD, I'm sure our understanding of Scripture will be illumated through the light of God as never before. Just as Christ "expounded" - (1329 - to explain thoroughly, by implication, to translate - Luke 24:27) and "opened" - (1272 - to open thoroughly, literally (as a first-born) or figuratively (to expound):--open - Luke 24:32) the Scriptures to the two disciples on the road to Emmaus.

Scripture is an accurate record of history and a detailed prophecy of future events. In time, all prophecy will eventually become history. If Scripture is an accurate record of history, and Jesus commands us to know the time of His visitation, then I would suggest that (whether we understand it now or when we get to heaven) Scripture also records the coming of the Messiah. - (ALL of history)

However, no one can know for sure until that time.

When I hear doomsday, I think of 90% or more of the earths population being destroyed, and most of the land no longer being usable for growing food for some time. The last time that happened was in the Great Flood, but even that was truly not a day of doom, but a day of purging the evil off the earth, so that the plan of God for humankind continued on. So there was truly no doom then, for God was in control, a solid rock to stand on in any storm, and God hasnt changed, He is still our Solid Rock, our Solid foundation when the storms and rain, and shaking comes. The Lord said He would never destroy life on earth by flood again, and with the millenium yet to come, I cant see the earth to be destroyed by fire, earth, or wind. No matter what happens, God is in control... and thats always a good thing.

Warped warriors,

I agree since we who have Jesus are of the light, we should not be surprised when the day of the Lord is near.1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

1 Thessalonians 5:1–11 KJV
5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch
and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
—1 Thessalonians 5:1–11 KJV

Brad,

If you study the scripture in my posts 1and2, I believe you should understand that most of the people alive at the beginning of the tribulation will die during it or the judgment by Jesus after the battle of Armageddon discussed in Matthew 25:31-46

I already know what scripture says about Armageddon and judgements, etc. I have weak eyes, and avoid long posts which posts 1 and 2 both qualify as. I was merely commenting on the word doomsday not truly being valid as a description, for the Lord is in control, so I just cant see it as "doom". Death of the body happens all the time on this earth. Its a part of our life cycle, worm now, and the worm eventually dies, and we metamorphis into our eternal bodies. The judgements and seals, and trumpets simply bring about the normal body life/death cycle to an end quicker and puts us into the next spiritual life, and where we go in that life depends on our actions and faith in this life.

Brad,
The short version of doomsday is that God will cause man to fight a nuclear war which will burn off the protective layer of the atmosphere. The sun will get 7 times stronger and earth will be like an oven.

So you dont believe in free will I take it?

There is not going to be a doomsday or armageddon or partial annihilation or end of the world tomorrow the 21th 12/2012 it will be just like any other ordinary day overall generally without any major or big world disaster complications will not happen except for all the BIG HYPE going on.

remember who "prophecied" this event as if this date were the end of the world?

satan and his minions did and the truth is not in them!

let us therefore be soberminded! many are in fear because of all this nonsense that is all sent and created by satan to be entangled into this FEAR and is not based on anything Biblical.

again i say:

Nothing will happen tomorrow! and today is the 20th of 12/2012.

DutchChristian,

It is an example of Satan crying wolf when there is no wolf. Do this often enough and no one will listen to the true warning.

Brad, who would choose to go to Hell? It will be part of Gods judgment of the world and a last chance to be saved for all the people who have not rejected the truth of the gospel of Jesus before the tribulation.
