Euthanasia. What the Bible says?

The only reason people ever discuss euthanasia is for dealing with a disease. A healthy oldster never even looks at it. He/she enjoys life just as much at ninety five as they did at nineteen, perhaps more. So based on that, what justification could one ever give to make euthanasia right? NONE. God heals all of our dis-eases.
I have to say, Ivar, that your reasoning is NOT Word based and your Word is only reason/intellect based. You're arguing from the wrong position. You cannot contradict God, you will be wrong, and He right, every time. You need to read the Word and form your opinions from that...Not form your opinion then bend the Word to fit that.

@Bendito

very true. you got me there. my mind was on abortion. i definitely mis-spoke.

actually no i haven't misspoken. In # 12 post @Christ4Ever asked me a question so that's why my answers have been focused on abortion.

@Bendito

you seem like one who would stumble on scripture such as this

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My word so seem to be more in line with the volume of the book than you realize.

OK...Let's look at abortion. What possible justification to kill an innocent child? In the case of mother and child will die? No...."I am the God who HEALS ALL your dis-eases" "By Jesus' stripes you WERE healed" No justification at all.

Concerning your question I am not allowed to answer with no specifics given.
Also I need to be mindful that these are public forums and

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? "not directly towards you but in general terms"

Now if you give me specifics then i might be able to or say yay or nay.

Like I said before Ezekiel 18:20 has both answers.

We euthanized our pet Milo, his back was degenerating and made it difficult to walk, and he also was losing complete control over his bowels. They also thought he had cancer. To this day, I regret doing it. And we almost had another situation where I thought we would have to put down our 3 legged German shepherd. He could barely walk and he is also starting to lose control over his bowels. He will be 12 years 6 months on December 6th. Come to find out, he had a form of Lyme disease and is now on antibiotics and doing better. But for Milo, not so. It hit me so hard putting him down. We had 5 dogs, now down to the one. One, named Guinness passes in his sleep at a ripe old age, Honda's heart stopped. She had seemed fine and then walked toward us and fell onto her side. Had we known it was her heart, maybe we could have tried to revive her. Coco, died of major organ failure. She had seemed fine , but was off her food and I thought she was being a little picky, then her breathing got labored and so I brought her to the vets, she passed that night. I don't think I could ever make that decision again, but we may have to with Eiko down the road. What do you, or anyone else think about euthanizing pets?

It is normal to kill animals for food. Killing means sausages, hamburgers, chicken legs. A sick person is not a cow, a pig, or a chicken. A sick person still has the right to life. The right to kill is an equal right to an animal.
