Hi Used to believe,
When I read your post, it reminded me of a book I once read. I think it was either Phillip Yancy, or Max Lucado. In it it said that God never moves. He always wants us, and is always waiting for us. I do not know what your circumstances were or are, and it is none of my business, but I do know from experience we are the people that move toward or away from God.
