i dont think christians should be "dating" in the first place. we are to abstain from even the apperance of evil. dates lead to, or can lead to, things not approved by God. there is a proper way to go about "courting"

not trying to point a finger but just think about what i am saying. which is we are not to be or do as the world.

Definitely yes for me, as long as she true to the faith... I think its a way of honouring God's diversity.

I answered Yes. I'm white and I'm currently dating an Asian girl (she's Christian). I believe we should always date a Christian, if we are a Christian. The Bible is not against interracial marriage, but is against dating non-Christians.

2 Corinthians 6:14
“Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?”
I agree with you entirely. From experience its best to only get heavily involved if the others a christian because its best to be of the same spirit and share the love of Jesus. But i dont see the harm of going out with someone of a diffrent race if you truely love that person are right for each other and are happy together,I dont see anything wrong with a black and white person getting married together.I know in the old testiment God was opposed to inter racial marriage but I think thats only because at the time the Jews were the only nation that worshiped the true and only God,the rest nations worshiped idols.

yep

I voted yes
i mean as long as he's a true Christian, and when i say true i mean he talks the talk and walks the walk then its fine with me. I think all people are beautiful!!!
:shade::heart7:

I think everyone can handle that.
I'm dutch and I met an American boy who I'm gonna marry in a few years(God told me).
And yeah, it's hard. But if he's the one, why not? :)
And if you wanna know if he's the one, ask God. I did.

I miss him so much. Only see him once in half a year.. But he's so amazingly worth it!

(i tried to quote Alicia, it doesn't seem to work..)

I said No, not because I'm racist just because it is my preference. I am like jews, there is not many of us people so I would like to see my kind live on....

God is Love, Abraham

I agree with Mavmin--the only race is the human race. Well said. The Lord made people in different colors, but He made us all equal.

Hey... Good for her... I am too a christian and looking for a christian white guy. Don't have the luck though... :(

Yes, I agree, we can date someone regardless of race and all as long as your partner knows God.

I voted maybe. I've never dated someone of another race, but have recently started considering it. Would it be so bad if he was a Christian and had a firm relationship with Jesus? The thing is about being equally yoked. Moses was married to someone of another race

Huh? really? Moses dated another race? I never know about this one huh... Thanks for the info.. :)

i voted yes. I'm asian and i'm dating a white guy. He's a christian and we both share the same christian values and faith. And i think that's the most important part.

Wow nice... I am an asian too.. In what country are you?

I would

I know I would. I would date anyone in any race. Because when I see someone, I see there personality, and faith. :D

What are these more 'proper' ways of courting?
Every godly couple I have ever met dated first.
They dated for a long time, and were very careful about it.
My boyfriend of a year and 8 months and I are always around
people, and we talked about sexual sin and ways to prevent it.
When we go to his house, his mother, little sisters, and depending on
when she works, his older sister is there ALL the time. His mother
stays at home. His dad is there is the evening.

At my house my grandfather is retired and we always have
him in the house. We go to places like restaurants, the park,
the beach, which are all filled with people.
Love between two people is a beautiful thing, especially two
followers of Jesus, because the other does not want to be
a stumbling block.
I don't see anything evil about dating.

If you are a christian, its best to date a fellow christian trust me...theres certain things that a christian does i.e prayer time, certain music that a non christian wil find alien. If u marry a non christian, There is crisis because your minds are not alike...the majority of people who Speak to me or friends married to unbelievers are finding it hard...its nearly halloween time, the husband wants to buy halloween ghostly masks for their daughter to wear to school, and decorate their house in scary things, the christian wife is not accepting celebrating halloween...what do u do?

If God is not the centre of your home, there is going to be crisis. God knew what he said " Do not be yolked with unbelievers".

I come from a mixed home, Theres black, white etc 95% christian, we gel fine with society. Way back I would go on dates with a non christian but u realise theres nothing in common really but sometimes with prayer they come round. Speaking from my own experience, its best to pray and believe God for a believing person to be in your life...theres more underatanding then...Praying!

I couldn't date someone from another race.

Heb 12:1-2 LITV So therefore we also, having so great a cloud of witnesses lying around us, having laid aside every weight and the easily surrounding sin, through patience let us also run the race set before us, (2) looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, "and sat down at the right" of the throne of God. Psa. 110:1
