History Of Pre trib-Rapture

... Revelation 20:4-6 (ESV):
“Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of God's word, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with the Messiah for 1,000 years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were completed. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over these, but they will be priests of God and the Messiah, and they will reign with Him for 1,000 years.”

Now do you see it? If the first resurrection doesn’t occur until after the tribulation (which as even pre-trib fans admit is when the Antichrist runs around beheading those who refuse to take his mark) how can the saints be raised from the dead before the tribulation starts?

I have never met a pre-tribulation follower who can explain that one. The vast majority in fact are greatly surprised when I point it out.

Tee Hee! I use that passage as a proof text for the
pre-tribulation rapture (thus proving the post-tribulation rapture
onlyist in a slight error. Yes, there will be a post-tribulation
rapture, it just isn't the only rapture).
Of course, I figured out the tribulation on my
own (with lots of study and help from the Holy Spirit).
So for me the best book ever written by LaHaye was
HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELF
(Harvest House, 1998 Edition). yea!
Obviously I don't agree 100% with LaHaye either, but
he got to be a Millionaire evangelist with his fiction books
and I'm just a retiree.

Rev 20:4-6 (KJV1611 Edition):
And I saw thrones, and they sate vpon them,
and iudgement was giuen vnto them:
&
I saw the soules of them that were beheaded
for the witnesse of Iesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had receiued his marke
vpon their foreheads, or in their hands;
and they liued and reigned with Christ a thousand yeeres.
5 But the rest of the dead liued not againe vntill the thousand
yeeres were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed & holy is he that hath part in ye first resurrection:
on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be Priests of God,
and of Christ, and shall reigne with him a thousand yeeres.

The difference between post-trib only and
pre-tribulation rapture is three 'and's (Greek 'kai'),
one first, and a couple of 'day's.

Here the '&' is a translation of the Greek 'kai'.
I believe it to mean two separate groups of people

The pre-tribulation raptured saints:
//And I saw thrones, and they sate vpon them,
and iudgement was giuen vnto them: //

and the post-tribulation raptured
Jewish saints (AKA: Tribulation saints):
//I saw the soules of them that were beheaded
for the witnesse of Iesus, and for the word of God,
and which had not worshipped the beast,
neither his image, neither had receiued his marke
vpon their foreheads, or in their hands;//

This is the way , I see it!

Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

NOW WE the church has power over satan and of course all demons.

after the rapture, satan is given power over the saint. Why? these are not part of the church yet, they are the called , but must give there lifes to be part of the church. GOD deals in thec eternal . He sees these as HIS after death.
I must know the reason for the rapture.

So HIS wrath can come upon the evil of the earth.
We are not counted as even part of this world. Our world is NEW JERUSALEM and the KINGDOM of GOD!

We do not fit well in this world , Once Born into the KINGDOM.
We will always suffer tribulation as long as we live in this evil world. The GREAT TRIBULAtION is different tribulation as it is the wrath of GOD.
We are NOT EVER given to OUR FATHERS WRATH.
No GOOD FATHER would ever bring HIS wrath on HIS family!

1Th 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1Th 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

GOT TO BE WITH HIM! TO RETURN WITH HIM!
Jud 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

1Co 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Col 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable in his sight:

The question should be?
What would be the purpose of the rapture?
To keep us from tribulation? NO of course not!
To keep us from our FATHERS WRATH? YES
Could the church over come the anti-christ? Yes of course!

Luk 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Luk 10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

We are not weak little beings, But heavenly beings part of the MIGHTY KINGDOM OF GOD!

In HIS NAME we have power over sickness , death , demons and more!

HE said? Greater works will these do!

You see? HE started off only coming tom ISRAEL, Then rejected them!
Then HE takes HIS church out and returns to the place or people HE started with? THE ISRAEL.
He could not return to them , with the mighty church still here.
Because , as we see He will then work though the 144, 000 JEWS .
No longer the church!
The church went HOME, to there natural place! The city HE has prepared for us!

Amen, Brother Spirit1st -- Preach It !!!

Also recall that the pre-tribulation rapture isn't
a best-guy-on-the-block contest. The
reason for the pretribulation rapture is so that
God can fulfill His promise:

Rom 11:25-26 (KJV1611 Edition):
For I would not, brethren, that ye should bee ignorant
of this mysterie (least yee should bee wise
in your owne conceits) that blindnesse in part
is happened to Israel, vntill the fulnes of the Gentiles
be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saued, as it is written,
There shall come out of Sion the Deliuerer,
and shall turne away vngodlinesse from Iacob.

With the largely Gentile Church Age crowd lifted off
the Earth, the Antichrist can come into power.
He will come into power as THE CHRIST. But
he will be a false Messiah. When he enters the
newly built Temple and declares himself as God --
then all Israel will see that their real Messiah
is the rejected cornerstone: Messiah Jesus
Ben-Joseph of Bethelem & Nazereth.
