Greeting sister
I guess the situation is common around the world, some countries better than others, some worse, some areas in a country better and worse. The pattern seems to show the situation bad at the outbreak of the virus in a country, then as it slowly improves, some things get through some don't, some supermarkets reducing the number of varieties of items they stock. But the items you list are common here in the UK, they are also the ones people panic buy, yet there have been pictures and reports of some of those panic buying throwing stacks of food out within 7-14 days! Selfish and Panic!
I am over 70 and have drug issues, being allergic to many but we don't know which until I take them. I don't have the standard flu jab so not sure what will happen if/when a vaccine is ready for covid. My wife injects with methotrexate every week, to help slow the rheumatoid and osteo arthritis, she has to have blood test every 4-6 weeks and carry a book around with her of the result, it affects her disease activity which makes her vulnerable to illness, but if she gets ill she cannot take any other drugs without contacting medical first for advice. So we are in the stay at home, lock down situation, mustn't go out. It is a strong cancer the drug, commonly used with rheumatoid and osteo-arthritis, MS and other diseases. It is a strong drug, she injects every Friday night, but Saturday she is out of things, grotty, horrible, bit like how chemo reacts, no one seems to find a suitable explanation for how it feels, it is horrible to see, she just sits in her chair, almost ghost like. She hates Saturdays, I hate to see her like that.
This has caused a lot of issues with deliveries from supermarkets, it was major at the start but is still patchy. In the early stages we placed an order for 96 GBP of food, no item more than 2 of, rest just one of. They delivers 27 GBP of food!
It is still patchy, getting a deliver slot is hardest, and there is always something missing, but the good Lord provides for all our needs, for our daily bread, our daily needs.
Bless you
