How do I know the Bible is not just mythology

As i said, i was teetering with the belief somewhat.

With an open heart and mind just take up the Bible and read it, not comparing it to any other text or book you have read.
Also ask the Lord, who you have said in another thread you are almost convinced exists.....to show you that He is real and that His word is the truth.

The Bible, the word of God, will not fail too reveal the truth to you.

Yes Asanima, love would never fire a machine gun. Love seeks that which is lost, love pursues
reconciliation. Love is peaceful, kind, considerate, gentle, love does not harm anyone or anything.

Many Christians have been misled and do not pursue love from a pure heart. This is the single greatest
problem that the church in general must address.

If someone yells a phrase such as "for God and country", you do not have to lock and load.
This is a common political phrase employed frequently throughout history. I repeat that love
is the mark or fruit that is used to identify a Christian. I would never become a soldier Asanima,
I do not believe that war is ever a solution to disagreements.

God is in control, so in the end I only have to conform to His will in my life. His will is
that I forgive and forget, love others and reconcile everyone to Christ.

In my world which is different to your world Asanima, love is the fundamental criteria that
is used to understand all. Our world is corrupt in its political, ideological, and theological
understanding. Wars and disputes must take place between nations and peoples. Love
is always absent in the affairs and transactions of mankind.

Reconciliation between nations is impossible, reconciliation in politics is impossible.
Friendship between people is rare, I do not believe the world as such will sort itself out.
Love is above all Asanima, God is love, God is above all.

So youre a pacifist? If a foreign country invades your soil and is about to kill your daughter or wife, you wouldnt lift a finger to stop them?
