MA1,
A few agreements between us , but not many
Howdy Stephen1!
Well, A few agreements is better than none.
I agree with the gap between the 69th Week and the 70th Week. However, Since you brought this subject up, I will show you just how powerful Biblical numbers are.Stephen--The visions of the Bible prophets all have a breach between the end of the 69th week decreed [about 33 A.D.] and the beginning of the 70th week .... which is still future
Many people try to pinpoint the death and birth of Christ. And, Many discussions/debates have arisen over this very issue. But, God and His Word is very powerful and very precise.
The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD. This point of reference is our starting point. Moses was in the desert for 40 years. Jesus Christ was in the wilderness for 40 days.
Subtracting the Biblical number of 40 from our point of reference of 70 AD gives us 30 AD. The year that Christ died on the cross, cut off in Daniel 9:26a.
Christ lived to be 33 years of age. Some say 33 1/2. But, none the less, subtracting 33 from 30 AD gives us -3 or 3 BC. Since there is no zero year, You subtract 1 from -3 and you get 4 BC. The precise year of Christ's birth in Bethlehem.
I will say again, my friend, These two battles are not the same battle. Why? Because I do not believe that 1/6th of a surviving army = no survivors. Mathematically, The numbers just simply do not compute.Stephen--There is also a breach between the invasion of Israel at the middle of the 70th week and the battle of Armageddon as presented in Ezekiel 38,39
Style? I am not into anyone's Style of interpretation. I am more interested in pursuing the Wisdom of God from which the Holy Spirit teaches me the Truth of His Word and End Time Bible Prophecy. There is no better teacher than God Himself. John 14:26.Stephen--One must learn the structure of prophetic style in order to render the correct meanings
The Peace Covenant in Daniel 9:27a is signed with the Seed of Jacob multiplied as the dust of the earth. Right now, see Romans 11:8 and 1 Thessalonians 5:5b, and this time in the future, They will not know who Jesus Christ is. They enter into the Tribulation period just as blind as they are now to the Truth of the Gospel.Stephen--The covenant in Daniel 9 is the 70 weeks of years decreed given within the context of the chapter [not some sort of false peace agreement between Israel and the nation's enemies] .... it is the Lord who will confirm this covenant it by executing the 70th week and reaching the 6 objectives for the believing remnant part of national Israel
To say that the Seed of Jacob multiplied as the dust of the earth are believers in the Messiah when this covenant is confirmed is worse than false in my honest opinion.
Not at first he won't. He will sign the peace covenant with the Seed of Jacob multiplied as the dust of the earth. He will desecrate the Jewish Temple as prophesied by Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:15 42 months later. See Daniel 9:27b and Revelation 13:1.Stephen.... the other prince will come to desecrate
Have you thought about telling that to God?Stephen--Nothing of the past 2,000 years is recorded in the visions of the Bible prophets .... and certainly not Rome and 70 A.D.
According to Josephus, The Roman Army under General Titus destroyed the Holy City of Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple in 70 AD. Daniel writes about this in Daniel 9:26b.Stephen--The people of the prince that shall come were not the Romans in the first century, but they will be the followers of satan's beast [Abaddon-Apollyon in the little horn .... the king of the north] at the coming time of the end
According to Scripture, God has inspired His word for Doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16. According to the Inspired Word of God in part in Deuteronomy 19:15, by the mouth of 2 witnesses, or by the mouth of 3 witnesses shall the matter be established.
For Daniel 9:26b, Who are our witnesses? God and Daniel. We also have an Historical witness bringing our count to 3 witnesses. According to the Law of God, This matter has now been established and no man can say otherwise.
Well, I normally do not talk about this issue. Matter of fact, I don't even bring it up in conversation. But, Since you brought it up, I will share with you where I stand on this particular issue.Stephen--And it is the Lord Himself who will move against this king of the north and his followers and route them from Jerusalem just as Micah 5 tells ... He will drive the Assyrian out and destroy him
You have a fairly good understanding of the prophetic scriptures, but you are far too presumptious with your evaluations of another .... a haughty and condescending demeanor shows and is evident
First of all, I have never met anyone who does not have a haughty and condescending demeanor. Everyone has one. So, I will share with you the words of Jesus Christ and the Word of God that I stand on.
Matthew 7:
3. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4. Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
I find it much better to leave the beam that is in the eye of another alone and let God deal with that beam and focus solely on pursuing the Wisdom of God and teaching the Bible according to the Law of God. And, Everybody who knows me knows that I fail at this.
This approach has worked for me and this very same approach will work for you. But, You can't try it. You have to live it. The Word of God is not something you try, The Word of God is the Power you live by to overcome finger pointing.
That is why I stand on 2 Timothy 2:15 and Psalm 19:7.Stephen--Humble yourself, seek the Lord's guidance, and continue your studies with pure motive .... no self seeking gain
If you do this He will withhold nothing from your understanding within His limitations
God Bless You!
