How to prepare for the Great Tribulation?

Should we be teaching ourselves and our children, bush survival skills?
Why not follow what your Lord and Saviour commanded you to do?

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
(Matthew 28:19-20 KJV)

I would suggest that you have the Holy Spirit teach you how to actually deal with confronting demons and hatred.

Please explain what confronting demons has to do with this topic.

I'm curious as to what you think a debate "win" might be... just the quantity of people who happen to agree with you, millions having been brainwashed into embracing a popular religious fiction? Or someone who can actually present a well thought out rational view?

Debates always have clear winners if the topic is very specific.

Moderators don't take sides. Well should not. They are there to ensure there are no ''rabbit trails, moving goal posts and evasion''.

A debate is really nice actually. You can pin someone down. It is unlike here where any poster can type their two cents, insult others, evade and think they are keeping face.

You do realize that the Entirety of the 95 theses of Martin Luther that started the Protestant Reformation was about financial gain? So... your church can be traced back to financial gain. Luther and the Pope were fighting over MONEY. (Can you be honest and admit that you didn't know that?)

Separate matter. Explain how this is relevant to what I said.

One might say the same of your education. Just because I provided a Wikipedia link as a source referent doesn't mean I don't have a rather extensive educational background.

I think the points made have flown over your head. Please re-read and try again.

No. It has nothing to do with any "term." The Doctrine was just one of many false teachings that were spawned in the 1800s.

Opiniated statement with no explanation.

The DOCTRINE itself did not exist anywhere in the Christian Church until then. There had always ONLY been a single Second coming, not a Third coming 7 years later. There's only ONE Second coming in Mathew 24. (I'm sure you've read it. No?)

Prove it. Don't just make a claim.

Here's another link to a Wikipedia article that might explain things in simple terms for you to understand.

If you think the wikipedia link is relevant, copy and paste the section you think applies. Linking something and expecting the other party to just go and read it all. Wow, that is evidence that you are new to discussion forums. That is a form of trolling. Please take discussion more seriously.

No need. It's easy to see that your mind is already made up.

Go to the link provided and type why you believe in no rapture. This line is a cop out.

(You have to earn that respect.)

Wow, lol. Your post should be awarded first prize for the highest count of cringeworthy lines.

Sorry, guys. But the Christians of that day are not escaping the Tribulation.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. (Mat:21-22 KJV)

Sorry, but that verse used in my op does not disprove the rapture. Please go to the link for the rapture discussion. We can discuss there.

No, it doesn't disprove the rapture. It proves that Christians will go through the Tribulation.

No it doesn't. Unless you read into it. Go to the link given in post 25 and discuss there. Copy paste your posts here, there.

It does. Why don't you want to address it? In your OP you said, "we escape the tribulation" I was simply pointing out that we don't.

Why don't I want to address it? You have not read the thread have you. I would like to discuss the rapture separately. Imagine another thread discussing it. I gave you a link, go there and discuss the rapture specifically. I will meet you there.

You don't believe in the rapture, so you should have a lot to say on this threads topic.

Actually. I wasn't addressing the rapture. I was addressing the tribulation. . You said, we escape the tribulation. I pointed out that we don't.

Also, I actaully do believe in the rapture. I just don't believe it is what most claim it is.

Ok, thanks for clarifying.

I believe we do escape the rapture and am happy to explain myself in the other thread.

The reason I don't feel its really relevant here is because there will be tribulation saints. Christians from John's teaching in the tribulation. We are Christians from Paul's teaching.

In the tribulation, your faith means naught. Only what John said in Rev 2:10 matters. Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

We escape the rapture?

I'm not following you

(Mat:21-22 KJV)
I believe you meant to type Mat 24:22.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
(Matthew 24:22 KJV)

I recall having mentioned this, but kingj is in his own little world.

Yeah, I forgot to add the chapter number

We escape the rapture?

If you actually meant that, then there's no reason to waste time "debating" with you. If you mistyped, and meant to say "tribulation" then there is also no reason to waste time "debating" with someone who doesn't proofread, or is unable to accurately explain himself.

Good day,
Rhema
