I want to become a Christian

I just want to add that I don't think you will achieve much from being another Christian martyr, nor that it is God's will.

We can tell you to make a stand for Jesus, but that does not mean you announce to all that you are a Christian and allow them to throw you off a building. You may as well do that yourself. You will achieve the same result.

We have protestants dominating America and other parts because they fled the Catholic church in Europe. Fleeing is not cowardice or shame for Jesus. It is use of God given brains (wisdom), self defense / protection of family.

I can only see you leaving Iran as a viable option. Do you have family elsewhere / preferably a 'western' country?

Hide my belief? Im not coward but i like my live
Can you tell these to Jesus When he was crucified?

There are times when it is right to retreat from danger. There are times when it is right to face danger in God's grace.

None of us know where God will lead you, but if you seek him earnestly he will guide you.

you are right but at first is hard I accept all of your word
I want to know Christ more
I trust To GOD but i my country and religion, people dont know Jesus's GOD and Allah is only god

Even for a non-Muslim it is hard to accept!
That is why I have previously mentioned to you that you should pray and ask God to confirm for you that Jesus Christ died on the Cross, rose again and came from Him that you might be reconciled with Him. For God will confirm this to you!

The expectation is that somehow He will reply immediately as I have replied to your post here!! :-) We are a very impatient people, man. Our desires and His will for us do not always coincide and the responses are most times not immediate and rarely when we expect to get them. If you truly desire not only to know the truth, but specifically that Jesus is the Christ, Lord, and Savior. Then my words will not change you from this desire that inflamed your heart mind, and soul. Go to God, our Father who is in Heaven. Continue and don't stop seeking! He will answer you.

[Deu 4:29 NKJV] "But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find [Him] if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

What we share here are the Words that He has given us to share, our own testimonies, and those of others who have been called by God to be His Children that we have been blessed to hear. Your testimony is being written even as we correspond to each other here.

[Luk 11:5-10 NKJV] And He said to them, "Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves; 'for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him'; "and he will answer from within and say, 'Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you'? "I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

There will be so much more in the telling of your testimony, when you have received your answer. I am not one to know how this will be, should you continue to be faithful in prayer and of asking of Him. For know one think that He has waited for you Saeed. Waited lo these many years, for you to seek Him in truth that is found through Jesus Christ.

[2Pe 3:9 NKJV] The Lord is not slack concerning [His] promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Stay faithful in prayers dear Saeed!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

It is good you are not a coward. I am not proposing you be one. Just trying to explain that sometimes being a martyr is from stupidity and not bravery.

You need to search out Christians there and get advice. The way I see it is that your only option is to try leave the country as a Christian refugee.

Mark 8:34-38: And He summoned the crowd with His disciples, and said to them, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 35 For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? 37 For what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 38 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”

2 Timothy 1:7-9: For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. 8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.

Matthew 10:26-39: “Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 27 What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops. 28 Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.

32 “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

34 “Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36 and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.

37 “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39 He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.

Psalm 11:1: “In the Lord I take refuge; How can you say to my soul, ‘Flee as a bird to your mountain’?”
Sue, there is no reason to post this. I am not proposing he doesn't make a stand for Jesus. There is a fine line between stupidity and bravery. Men for example are charged with protecting their family. IE Self defense. Throwing yourself at the enemy for them to kill you is stupidity with some self righteousness.

Protestants in Europe fled. If they stayed, you and I would probably not be around.

It's good Idea but to leave my country and go where?
Be Christian guilty or not guilty, But in Islam if you convert or exit your faith is great and unforgivable sin, in this case any Muslim can kill you
Yes and if they don't hurt you they will hurt your daughter or wife. God does protect us. God also expects us to protect ourselves as much as we can and as a man....YOU are responsible for protecting your loved ones, not God. God is backup.

Anyone who disagrees with me must be amish or Jehovah witness. The only two groups I know of that would refuse to join the army. Christians fight in an army because the general consensus is that self defense is a necessity. We never solely prayed for Saddam Hussein to stop his evil, we sent tanks to his doorstep.

Jesus is God in the flesh. This does have to be revealed to you.

What you must also try to understand is that Jesus was crucified because He claimed to be the Son of God. According to the OT the Son of Man was God / was equal with God (Isaiah 9:6). So according to Jewish teaching Jesus was proclaiming Himself to be God. The Jews were expecting the Son of Man to be a ''god figure'' that would free them from Roman persecution and not someone who comes into town riding a donkey and whom socializes with sick, poor and tax collectors.

These are powerful verses:

1 Cor 12:3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

John 14:9 Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?

John 19:7 The Jewish leaders insisted, "We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God."

I agree with what you said, but how long should I retreat? How long should I stay secret?
I believe Jesus and His GOD, but i have do anything

you right, but Never ever I converted my faith if I was coward
Christian refugee is good idea, but where can I go, I'm scared if they deport me
I am here to get your advice in a safe place

Jesus, I am Resting, Resting
Jean Sophia Pigott

Jesus, I am resting, resting,
In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.
Thou hast bid me gaze upon Thee,
And Thy beauty fills my soul,
For by Thy transforming power,
Thou hast made me whole.

O, how great Thy loving kindness,
Vaster, broader than the sea!
O, how marvelous Thy goodness,
Lavished all on me!
Yes, I rest in Thee, Belovèd,
Know what wealth of grace is Thine,
Know Thy certainty of promise,
And have made it mine.

Simply trusting Thee, Lord Jesus,
I behold Thee as Thou art,
And Thy love, so pure, so changeless,
Satisfies my heart;
Satisfies its deepest longings,
Meets, supplies its every need,
Compasseth me round with blessings:
Thine is love indeed!

Ever lift Thy face upon me
As I work and wait for Thee;
Resting ‘neath Thy smile, Lord Jesus,
Earth’s dark shadows flee.
Brightness of my Father’s glory,
Sunshine of my Father’s face,
Keep me ever trusting, resting,
Fill me with Thy grace.

Jesus, I am resting, resting,
In the joy of what Thou art;
I am finding out the greatness
Of Thy loving heart.

I am from South Africa. I attend an Assemblies of God church. We are a bit more conservative to other churches. We still sing hymns with an organ only .

For Christian discussion and learning you can't beat a site like this one. I have been a regular on sites like this for a while now and my knowledge has increased exponentially from discussions. I highly recommend you make full use of this platform for growth. It truly does work.

Reading is good, but discussion is better. You will learn different view points on a site like this. Just reading won't help you to be objective. Unless it is the bible. So if you say you want to read about Christianity I would propose you just start reading the New Testament of the Bible and then discuss what intrigues you here. Once you are more learned, there are very good Christian 'apologetic' sites to visit.

I would love to summarize the Bible for you. It such an amazing read when you read the Old testament with the New. Everything falls into place and makes such perfect sense. From God creating mankind with intelligence, knowing they would need a Savior, so planning Jesus from before He created us (1 Pet 1:20), to choosing Abraham, to life after the cross. The Bible contains all we need to know. There is so much truth to get from it. After a while one starts to better grasp God and what drives Him. How good and loving He is. Reading the NT helps shine much needed light on the OT. Grasp where mankind went wrong with religion and why. Just so much to discuss. You should really start reading the NT as soon as possible.

First welcome to this forum and to the fold that God is putting together by means of His Son... and which is called the Church.

You are I understand very new as a Christian believer, but God helps any that really believe whether they are new or young or old. Already your experience in the difficulties for the flesh of a believer may well exceed that of anyone else on this forum.

I can tell you to step out in faith, but you are the one who must come to know in your heart more so than in your mind what that means. God will certainly stand by a sincere heart, but that may not mean that He will prevent any persecution from coming your way. Please read this account of Stephen a young man who loved God, but became the first Christian martyr described in scripture. I am showing only the very final verses of the chapter which show how he died:

Act 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
Act 7:52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
Act 7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
Act 7:54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
Act 7:55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
Act 7:56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Act 7:57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord,
Act 7:58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.
Act 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
Act 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

I present those words not to discourage you but so that you may understand that you are not the first to come to God and His Son, Jesus, under very difficult conditions. I am praying for you and your family as you walk this rough pathway toward Jesus.

I don't have a direct answer for you. I am confident God will guide you.

This is the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples - I believe that the all the questions you have today are covered in this prayer

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
