If You Could...

"Will you please forgive me for leaving my assigned duty station in my own time?" I shouldn't desire to see Him face to face yet since we already know each other more than skin deep. I already know He didn't have sparkling blue eyes and glowing locks of freshly groomed auburn hair. In general it was a typical Middle Eastern dark "black" skin tone, hair and a young Jew's beard black too. So if I saw Him there and then He wouldn't likely resemble any image presented by artists. So if anyone gets the chance to go, be prepared to pick Him out of a sea of folks looking just like Jesus. You look for a Rabbi, which eliminates the majority. To cut the chase, focus on the trail of miracles. Big audience, few disciples. When you hear the apostles speak, listen for some jealous competition as to which should be the first in the new kingdom, and one very patient Master teaching servitude instead.

Hmmm, there's some technical glitches possible. It might take me years to actually catch up to Jesus, having no cell towers, not knowing the language to ask directions. If I was away from the time machine so long it might be taken away as an idol. :crying:

Naw, I'll cancel that appointment and go forward from here with Holy Spirit in me. I am a lot more interested in meeting Him in His present state of being, which has dramatically changed. King Jesus!

13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
