In a way you are right, but I doubt people vote for Biden or Trump because they like their personality. People vote for candidates based on their values.
One side supports LGTB, transgender agenda, abortion, and legalizing recreational drugs. The other side does not. This is why people support someone. Not because their name is Trump or Biden.
One side supports closed borders, and only allowing "legal" immigrants to come to this country. Just about everyone in the US has immigrant descendants. But back in the civil war days, and even during World War I and World War II.
Immigrants came to America to become Americans. They fought for America in these wars. They pledged allegiance to our flag and wanted to become US citizens.
Some immigrants still want to do these things. But many do not, there is open rioting in the streets. Burning the US flag in the streets, and anti-nationalism taught in schools and Universities.
