I'm worried about God.

I said nothing about worship. I described idolatry in terms of hope and of making judgements of others.

For example, if I were to refuse to be in fellowship with a person because they did not support Trump (or, by the same measure, if they did not support Biden), I would be guilty of idolatry.

Our unity is centred on Jesus Christ alone.
Idolatry in itself is worship of a false god. It doesn't matter if that worship is drugs or homosexuality or placing anything else before God..

Jesus teaches us to go to the ends of the Earth preach to the ends of the Earth I should say. So whenever you're with anyone it doesn't matter who they are you should always be preaching in some fashion, even if it is just doing good for the other person. Because all good things come from God

Exactly, but you've also made it clear it doesn't matter what they support or who they worship.
I think you must be trying to get a reaction from me. A dribbling halfwit could see that you've drifted a long way wide of logic and commonsense here. I'll spell it out for you using short sentences and simple words.

It does matter what you worship. There are two options: worship Jesus Christ, or worship anyone (anything) else. The difference is a matter of life and death.

Bill, there are few real Christians today but, I'll bet you're one of us. Almost everybody claiming the Christ claims that President Trump never took Yashua and they cannot forgive his sins. There are many claiming the name that have not known Him.
Christains today will have a long tough road over these next few years. But knowing how God works, it may stretch out a long time. (That i do not know) .

We have had many years of peaceful living, but now everything is lining up against us. ( except God of course) but in the world, we're going to be harassed in a big way. It primarily has to do with our faith in Jesus.

Even in my own church the Roman Catholic Church there is great strife. I mean the guy that sits in the seat of Peter right now is not our leader although he claims to be it. And I know this for a fact as the Lord told me that he had rejected Francis as leader of the Catholic Church.

I shared this here before as well with my spiritual director and others that I know closely. And now another "catholic mystic" ( that's what Catholics call people who have the gifts of the holy spirit believe it or not) has received the same message that I have from the Lord about Francis being rejected by God..

I know that many of you here may think to yourself that why should I care. I think it would be the same concept of all this business with President Trump and all these crazy trials that he is going through. As he says if they're going to do it to me then they're also going to do it to you.

So I also say this to you my Protestant brothers and sisters, that the devil is attacking my Church and he will certainly go after yours as well if not already doing so

We can see how the devil is trying to manipulate all the churches and to becoming the One World Church as we speak. This baloney that's over in Dubai, is the outcome of the many churches who have joined together trying to become a power in the world. They are setting aside the true power which is Jesus, and trying to be themselves a power. And this is evident for the very fact that in their opening prayer they will not ever include the name of Jesus. They only say God this and God that.

I asked you to put aside the differences as I have done that causes the rift between us. And to realize that we are indeed brothers and sisters and we need to stand together against this monstrosity that the world has embraced. Let us all gather with Jesus as our Lord and savior and put aside all our indifferences. Let Jesus use us as His servants

God is truly wonderful.

Please,

Give some time to proverbs; His Words are truly, truly wonderful.

Warning against idolatry is not the same thing as hatred.

And it cuts both ways. When hope is wrapped around Trump, that's a firm of idolatry.

Others have an all consuming opposition to Trump that is also idolatrous.

For the devil to still be around, unvanquished, since he was thrown from Heaven, he must be almost as powerful as God himself.

God loves, and forgives, so he always has the edge over the devil, but has the evil got the upper hand these days with a greedy, lying, criminal adulterer, setting such an appalling example.

We must pray that God calls him to account for his life, before November.
What does November have to do with anything?
God is sovereign and His will will be done, no one, nothing, even billions and billions of nothings, has power even remotely close to that of God.
The devil is so yesterday, get your eyes back on Jesus, and off of the storm!
Much love, Mary

Don't worry about November, God's President will be voted in.

What we should pray for is the soul of President Biden, that he finds Jesus before his death.

And we should also pray for President Trump, and that God will work through him mightily.
Hey Bill, did you see this?

Trump gutted the Republican platform!
Those of the mind of Christ are of the mind of Christ, and the others are ... not ...
Just ask Jesus who to vote for...

Its sad to see, but I dont doubt it was a political decision to make him more likeable by women who want to kill their children in their wombs at their own discretion. It seems the majority of women want this option badly, its the one thing the democrats are really focusing on as they have always supported itl. The person God puts in as president may be for good or bad, only time will tell.

Let me put it this way, I know when God the Father speaks to me. And when he told me that Trump was His president, I had no doubt in what I heard. I also know that over the years As Trump has been President, that God has been with him from before he was elected into office.

It was Jesus who told me, that President Trump would be like a great rock in the ocean being hit on all sides by water. And the water would have no effect on this rock.

Even though we see these convictions, we know that they're false. It is a corruption of our justice system.

I do know that Trump has become a Christian since he's been in office. Fulfilling a prophecy that was made that I heard inside the Protestant churches, that a president would become baptized while in office.

I don't know all of the In-N-Out of what went on in those meetings, and neither of those anyone else. I can only defend what I do know that God walks with President Trump.

I often think about Nebuchadnezzar, how he was referred to in Scripture as the sword of God. And that God used him to do His work. And in the end Nebuchadnezzar was saved.

I could and am willing to show you a multitude of scripture that would never condone the kind of speech and behavior that you've displayed here.

'A dribbling halfwit.'
'I'll spell it out for you.'

In proverbs, there is a golden nugget and it is very edifying: Proverbs 19:11
A person's wisdom yields patience; it is to one's glory to overlook an offence.

Galatians 5:22-23
King James Version
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

These are how we worship our Lord Jesus.

Gentleness and meekness..

Matthew 11:28-29
King James Version
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

We build one another up in the faith and cease from senseless debates and strife; those words used in your communication are contrary to the faith altogether..

God of Peace is another title our Father has in the New Testament.

I err often and repent myself often, so when we fall short let's be willing to wear our garments of humility, without which we would have no defense against pride.

If dribbling half-wit is something you find offensive, then you really don't have any business trying to be a Christian. Because there are so much or should I say so many descriptions of Christians that are way behind anything like that. Even people who will tell you that you have no faith whatsoever even though you spent a lifetime loving God.

It gets to the point where all you can do is just laugh cuz it is so ridiculous

He is holding him up to his own standards, and if he says he is a christian, his words should reflect that.

I laid myself on the ground like a carpet for love,

Today, I walk away. I forgive you, but now I will give my time and my life to those who deserve it.
REFLECTION & CORRECTION; Father, my heart has been pricked because I have suffered tremendously for those that You love, and You love all, Father. I said the words, 'those who deserve it,' and I was wrong; forgive me, Father, I repent. I know that You would never call any of your children a dribbling half-wit, Father. I am forgiving this person and walking away, because I cannot bear the pain anymore. Please bless this person with the wisdom that there are words evil, and words good, and I pray, give him the understanding to depart from the evil so that he may choose the good.

John 13:34

34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Amen, Father.

I have only tried to be faithful and loving, and my life will always be directed in Your commandments, because I love You.

Once upon a time, in a land distant and gone, there was a man, bitter, angry, resentful and very wounded; his eye was darkened and his tongue had daggers on it; he met Jesus, then he met the darkness on his own tongue. He learned that the tongue can kill, or it can make alive, that the mouth can destroy, or it can build up, that the mouth and the tongue together can plant darkness, or give Glory to God who is our life, and plant love.

Thank You Jesus,
God bless.

oh dear God...

no...

as for the thread title,

yes i did pray for God once. i told him i hoped humanity was worth the effort...

I am not worried about God. I made that mistake once before.

In my spiritual work, there's a lot of suffering that I receive from others and I offer it up to the Lord. But the darkness was always trying to find ways to stop me. And I at one point listened to it because what it would say to me is "oh you don't want to offer all that stuff up the Lord, the Lord has plenty of burdens of his own to deal with, why do you want to burden the Lord even more"

And and the love that I have for God, I actually listen to that. Because I didn't want to give more grief to God.

But the side effect of taking on the sins of the world, causes an overwhelming effect on me. As you know God gives us the burden to carry, but when the burden is too much he tells us to give it back to him.

Well I stopped giving back the burden to the Lord and in so doing I myself went into a spiritual depression. It's the only way I can describe it.

The only thing that took me out of the spiritual depression was when I finally opened myself up and gave all of the burden back to the Lord.

The Lord burdens us to share with us and have us grow in him. But when we give back to the Lord it doesn't hurt the Lord he's grateful that we took time to share with him. So don't ever feel like you're going to hurt the Lord by not returning the burden to him. Because all you're doing is you're allowing the darkness to get its foot wedge into you.

Take on the burdens that God gives us. But always give back to the Lord the burden when it is too much

Humanity is definitely worth the effort. I think you forget that it's God who created Humanity. All of mankind are God's created children. Every single one is meant to be with God in heaven. But he gives us the free will to choose our path and this is where the failure takes place our free will. And it doesn't really matter what the person's situation is, whether the person is slave or free, whether it is the lady who walks the street for whatever situation, or the person that Farms, for whatever situation there is, God's grace is enough.

As for us who are the Christians of this day and age we cannot look at others as if they are not the potential children of God. Because if we make that judgment based on the fact that they may be living and immoral life, then we are no better than the darkness that tests us constantly. We must Reach Out With Love, we must forgive everyone all the time no matter who they are
